That said, regarding this show, I haven't felt like there are places in which more spice would make sense. Our two couples aren't at that place in their relationship evolution yet.

Especially when doing an ep in which most characters are drunk, the director really should have brought in a special drunk coordinator, like a fight coordinator or dance coordinator. Except for the Dad, all the drunk acting was embarrassingly bad.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy does this director over-light the night scenes? People go out onto the pier or seaside rocks late at night, and the place is lit up like the face of the sun. This is an ongoing phenomenon across all national borders among BL-makers, from the earliest shows until now, and I don't get why they can't dim down night scenes. People go to bed, turn out the lights, and they still need sunglasses to suppress the glare. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Excellent, exciting spy thriller, as only the Koreans can make. The losers below whinging that they were asked to think at times are idiots. Ignore them.
All three leads are tremendous in their roles. The action/fights/shooting is expertly choreographed and thrillingly performed. I didn't catch one false or slow move, and I watch for those. It continually amazes me, the time and effort actors put into making fighting and other action look so authentic/real. The spy plot is intriguing, but NOT hard to follow, as someone below alleged.
Naturally, this being MDL, an exceptional thriller is rated two full stars too low. This is a 9.5, not a 7.5.

Asian movies, especially Korean, have taught me over time that what's insulting to the audience is giving them every answer, every possible outcome, for all the characters, explained in detail, and presented wrapped in a big red bow at the end of every flick. That's not how life works, why should it always work that way in a movie?
How on Earth would the SK spy know how things wrapped up in North Korea after all of that, and how does it matter, anyway?
