USA - The half of it that hates Donald Trump as much as you do.

For me it's more a shock that the guy seemed to be suffering from chronic insomnia & severe depression, was working…
HAHAHA...I guess you believe every conspiracy theory out there about the U.S., given that you feel terribly insecure about where you live.

Yes, America is a hell-hole. That's why there are 2.7 MILLION Asian college students here and hundreds of thousands of other Asians move here each year. 878,000 people from all over the world moved here last year.

Your attempt to change the topic here is pathetic. We're talking about Yoo Ah In and Korea's insane drug laws and show-off police and courts, who love to treat celebs roughly for maximum publicity. In the U.S. we treat addicts, we don't throw them in prison. That is saved for the pushers, dealers, traffickers, and doctors whose business it is to get people like Yoo hooked and then milk them for maximum $$$.

As for invasions, have you finished invading your private parts while you fantasize your moral superiority to YAI and the rest of us? Did you achieve victory? Are you close?

For me it's more a shock that the guy seemed to be suffering from chronic insomnia & severe depression, was working…
HAHAHA...yeah, it's a complete hell-hole here. That's why hundreds of thousands of people from Asia come here to get a college education each year, and why hundreds of thousands of others from all over the world immigrate to America each year.

Ask the Japanese, Germans, Italians, and French about how meeeeeean America was to them after WW2 and ask the Koreans about how mean America was to them after the Korean War. Without the U.S., there would be no South Korea. Everyone would be living under the psycho fat pig dictator to the north.

NO country is perfect, least of all mine. Still, we're talking about Yoo Ah In and thousands of other sick people thrown in jail by the Korean government and their psycho-overkill drug obsession, putting on a show of zero tolerance for the public each year. They killed off Lee Sun Kyun eight months ago, so they're trying for another trophy head with Yoo Ah In.

Here, addicts like Yoo are sentenced to treatment and community service, not prison. We save that for the pushers, dealers, traffickers, and sometimes even doctors who get people addicted, then squeeze every penny they can out of them, as was done to Yoo. Addiction is a disease and is to be treated, not used as an excuse to destroy lives.

Meanwhile, Korea drowns in alcohol (a drug!), costing itself billions of $$$ every year, but you're cool with that. What am I saying? You're likely a raging alkie yourself, which would explain your unhinged, virtue-signaling comments here. Alcohol damages mind and body faster than most recreational drugs.

Go suck down some Soju and puke in a grimy toilet tonight with the rest of your good, drug-free citizens.

Proud of yourself?
Are you touching yourself as you write all these flagrantly stupid/judgemental/self-righteous comments? Getting off on the suffering of a very sick person, desperately trying to shore up your ego by pretending you're superior to a very sick celebrity?

Please go ahead and bring yourself to climax, so we don't have to see you here anymore.

Our drug laws are still too punishment-based too, but compared to Korea, we are extremely lenient with ADDICTS who need help. They are physically and mentally ill and need to be treated.

Pushers and dealers and "cartel" members go to prison. You're an idiot.

you are fucking disgusting i hope you know that
You weren't "talking about it," you were making a joke of it for laughs, from that high horse you think you're up on.

You're a snide, snotty wack-job and probably one of Korea's millions of alcoholics. Enjoy vomiting in Gangnam tonight.

"oo Ah In was indicted for habitual propofol use 181 times at hospitals in Seoul from September 2020 to March…
In every case, the Propofol was administered by a doctor in a hospital setting, making this insanely severe punishment all the more crazy.
Lily Alice Sep 3, 2024
Today I hate Korea. This is insane.

On one hand they acknowledge that Yoo is deeply unwell, and has been so for a long time. They acknowledge that he has been severely depressed and sleep-deprived for years and that the Propofol use was a desperate attempt to deal with that. They acknowledge he received the drug from DOCTORS IN A HOSPITAL SETTING. On the other hand, they punish him as if he were a drug dealer/pusher from the alleyways of Seoul.

He is an addict who needs treatment, not prison. The Korean justice system (lol) is a perversion, completely over-the-top when it comes to drugs. Meanwhile, Korea has the highest rate of alcoholism in the entire world. ALCOHOL IS A DRUG. Tonight, thousands will vomit in the alleys of Gangnam. Alcohol abuse costs the economy BILLIONS of $$$ every year. But that's OK, that's all good. Madness.

They have ended the career of the finest young actor in Korea. I fear for his life in prison. Not from another prisoner, but at his own hand. Korea loves to drive its finest to despair and suicide. I hope his lawyers will appeal and fight for a reduced sentence.

I am sick at heart.

In case Yoo is allowed Internet access in prison and stumbles across MDL: "International fans who know this is an injustice love and support you, Yoo! Do your treatment, keep your head down and come to America when you get out. Hollywood will embrace you. The public will not condemn you. I wish you had fled to my country before Korean prosecutors and judges had a chance to throw you behind bars, treating you harshly for publicity to make themselves look good in the eyes of the alcoholic Korean public. Many hugs to you."

Title My Mister
IU is a terrible, one-note actor. Her bangs are the least of the problem.Great show except for her.
Hi Max. I'd be a jealous woman if IU could act and I had a vagina.

Well imaginate to be called ugly by even your boss, I mean Yang Hyun Suk called all 2NE1 members as ugly, they've…
I'm talking about the fact that it is BAD plastic surgery. If she paid for it herself, apparently she went cheap. She looks like she's made of plastic, not like a living human. Just awful.

It's not just idols, as I said. Korea has the highest rate of the population who have plastic surgery, most of it "double eyelid" surgery. Which is ridiculous because those who have it done look no more Caucasian than they did before, they just look slightly different. How sad to want to erase your genetic origins from your face. This is especially bizarre to me because I see Asians in general as the most beautiful people on Earth.
There are a few weaknesses in the physical action scenes that could have been fixed, but this film worked for me. I don't generally get into "magical realism" such as this, but I was riveted throughout and moved to tears several times, especially at their reunion and again at the end.

GREAT special effects. Nothing looked fake.

Recommended.

The entire time I was screaming "TAKE A DNA TEST" and facepalming at that stupidity but the movie somehow still…
There were a number of plot weaknesses and I don't generally buy into magical realism like this, but the movie worked for me. I came to tears at least three times throughout. Kang Dong Wan is a great actor, as is the young girl.

lmao that one random nameless side police character was like "why don't we just test his DNA" yes that would solve…
But whose dna would they compare his to, to prove he was the kid? He's an orphan with no relatives. Maybe find something that belonged to the kid at the orphanage and try to obtain some dna off of that? That might work, I guess...

Are you a priest?
I don't trust or generally like people who throw around the word "immoral" as if their perspective on the world is all-knowing and all-righteous. By your standards, what she did in dating one friend who she knew did not romantically like her, while also knowing that the two boys were attracted to each other, is also dishonest and "immoral."

As for "cheating," I find it difficult to take that word seriously in this situation. They "dated" for ONE week, and never had sex. What's there to "cheat" on?

How about they're young human beings who made mistakes and whose judgment is not always sound, just like most adults? But it's a lot more self-satisfying to condemn them as "immoral," isn't it?

There are a lot of people like you on MDL.
