The man in the bed is HIM? Why does the self we see as an 18-year-old look like a grown man self in the bed? It didn't look to me as though he killed the dude in the bed at all. Is the dead cat in the frig?
I like weird and angsty, but this is too deliberately opaque for my tastes. I don't mind doing some thinking to put pieces together, but as someone above said, this leaves more questions than answers. To me, that's usually the result of lazy or inept storytelling.
I'm confused... How's this censored or a bromance? đŸ¤”There's literally 2 kisses in episode 2.Also this is made…
Oh you mean that me and nama2sama are the same person? lol I've spent most of the last hour adding to my PTW list from their PTW and completed list. Like I said, thanks for putting us in touch, though I went to friend-request them and discovered we're already friends. Which means I am my own friend. Got it.
I'm confused... How's this censored or a bromance? đŸ¤”There's literally 2 kisses in episode 2.Also this is made…
Hey, thanks again for bringing nama2sama to my attention. I'm adding quite a few of their "completed" shows on my "plan to watch" list. Also lots of upcoming Korean BLs I was unaware of. Thanks!

Here's my reply to "sp)0ts up above: "I should have stopped after "this show sucks ass," because that's the bottom line and I really did not know what the hell I was talking about regarding C-novels. Apparently, you CAN write a gay novel in China. But also apparently, good luck trying to get it made into a live-action series IN China.
I'm going to edit my original comment so I don't look like so much of a dumb-ass. :D"
I owned up and edited my comment, as should anyone who changes their mind about what they wrote. Deal with it.
I don't care if you think I watched this show or not, but I have a hard time imagining what joy would come from commenting on a show one hasn't seen. Why don't you explain that for me, CC, since you're the one so familiar with the concept.
Now I'm off to change over to one of my 34 other accounts so I can come back and agree with myself in comments! I love doing this! BTW, I looked at nama2sama's page. We do have a lot of completed shows in common. Thanks for putting me in touch with someone else with decent taste, a rare thing on MDL. OK, I"m off to friend request myself!

Look at you flitting about this thread chasing me. Hey CC, check out a quote from my comment above "...series made in, or based on CONTENT made in China..." Content refers to the novel on which this series is based, which is by a Chinese author, genius. I watched almost two episodes before dropping, and I had all of my 34 other accounts watch those eps and drop it too.
This drama is Taiwanese. It is not censored. Also, an opinion is an opinion. You might not like this drama, but…
Delusional. You make shit up and pretend it's real. I watched almost two episodes of this POS. I specifically referred to Chinese "content," you moron. Content is movies, series, books, whatever. Yeah, this show is based on a Chinese novel. I never said this series was made in China.
I'm going to skitter over to my other account now and write another insulting comment aimed at you, OK? lol Actually, I have 34 different accounts, all created to back up whatever I write and talk to myself back and forth. hahaha
Omg, you're everywhere!! Is there someone forcing you to watch this? If not, just watch something else. Easy,…
It's hilarious that some here have implied that nama2sama is my "other" account. lol
When I come back to reply I see new posts, and I reply to some, that's true. So what? Is that against TOS? Why does it upset you? Don't read them. Easy, right?"
A quote from you: "I guess you lot just want to find an emotional dumpster to unload your daily life's negativity...Even at the expense of others peace of mind..." So, YES, you most definitely are "delicate & high maintenance." My remarks do affect you & your mental health because you said so. But alas, we can't have the peace of your tiny mind shattered by opposing opinions on MDL, can we?
Omg, you're everywhere!! Is there someone forcing you to watch this? If not, just watch something else. Easy,…
What the hell is hun^^? I know it must be something sexual since you're afraid to spell it out.
You are a moron and liar. If you check the timestamps on my comments, you will see that most of my OPs were left on the same day. The rest are replies to people who reply to me, and I couldn't care less that my interactions with those people leave you distraught. Try not reading them.
"Even at the expense of others' peace of mind..." lol Oh you poor dear, you delicate thing. Life must be hard for you. If you are enjoying a show but all it takes is a comment from someone who thinks it sucks to ruin your viewing experience, then your admiration of the show is not as deep as you think it is.
Wow, it is really something that negative comments about a pet show of yours wreck your "peace of mind." Your peace of mind is terribly fragile.
Ow, its that stupid homophobic brainless dude that goes around criticising each and every bl.
"homophobic..." lol I'm a homo, little Kayli; thus, I know a lot more about being gay then you, who is likely an American girl around 20 years old, ignorant, and dying to throw words like "homophobic," "misogynist," "problematic," "racist," "the patriarchy," "transphobic," and all the rest around regardless of their relevance to the topic at hand. Your opinion of me is of no importance.
"...each and every bl." Oh, and you're also a liar. I almost never even check for new Thai BLs, let alone watch them, because 95% of Thai BLs are made for the "fluff" and "cute" crowd, of which I am not one. Also, the acting/directing/writing is almost always terrible. This means I never even look at 95% of new BLs, so it's unlikely I'm on their MDL pages commenting. Which makes you a moron desperate to insult someone who dares to trash a show you watch.
Finally, I'm glad my prolific commenting upsets you. I treasure that knowledge. It gives me pleasure. You are exactly the right kind of MDLer to dislike my opinions. It tells me I'm on the right track.
I know the makers are working with a small budget, but they do a great job of making the best of what they do have. The acting/direction is top-notch, especially from the male leads, and the show has a shit-ton of heart, which makes up for almost anything else.
Park Luke is a profoundly mature actor for his youth. I believed every word he spoke, every feeling he emoted, every tear in his eyes. Nothing is over or under-done. He is utterly natural and convincing. I have a new name to add to my fave BL actors list.
A few caveats: For the hundredth time, men, especially gay men, do NOT get up and get fully dressed and get back in bed after having hot sex. And seeing as in the uncut version we see some shirts coming off, it's not as though bare chests and shoulders in the waking-up scenes are going to freak us out. What is it with so many Korean BLs featuring dudes who have presumably great sex and then rise to shower, iron their clothes, put them back on, and go back to bed?
Speaking of which, I watched the first episode of the uncut version on a site with obnoxious ads. However, the little bit of extra heat is so marginal and utterly irrelevant to the success of the story-telling, that I watched the rest of it on YT where someone stitched all the episodes together into one uninterrupted video. Thank you, someone!
I wish the director had backed off on the OST ballads over quiet, intimate, powerfully emotional moments such as before the first sex scene. A couple of other times music was used to cue us to emotions being felt when the actors were doing a great job and needed no sudden guitar strings and a pop ballad to support them. The silence otherwise used to powerful effect here would have been the better choice. Leave the cheesy music to Thai and Pinoy BLs, which need all the help they can get.
Why do BL women always want to marry gay men even after they learn they're gay? I suppose the bit with the fiance is pretty trope-ish, which would be another caveat. But otherwise, the show is so well-done that I rolled with it. I need a sequel to witness how that bitch wreaks "hell" on our boys, and how they fight back together.
Like most of the best films and series featured on MDL, this exceptional piece is grossly underrated.
All things considered, and as a result of it succeeding at being everything it attempted to be, Bad Guy gets a 9.5/10 from me.
