A potentially great story, full of challenging subject matter, handled lamely in every way I can think of. Wild…
The son is most definitely hot for his buddy, and it went absolutely...nowhere.
The daughter makes a sexual move on her blood brother/father, the bisexual dude responds physically, the only reason they didn't do the deal is because the other dad showed up and stopped it. wtf? The brother/father (if I understood that correctly) should have gotten the boot, and the girl should go into therapy. However, in this story it's all over and forgotten the next day. I wouldn't trust that dude alone with her again. I'm not "offended" by the material, I love a scandalous story line, but the only sick thing about that family is that they just sort of blew off that incident.
Ugh...the Lesbians...acting like Ozzy and Harriet with all the behavioral stereotypes, then shocked that their 18 year old son would have questions about his paternity, then squealing and stomping their feet when shit hits the fan.
Lots of reasons to be disappointed here.
A potentially great story, full of challenging subject matter, handled lamely in every way I can think of. Wild shit out of left field that had no repercussions, definite hints of intriguing/exciting feelings that went nowhere, grown women acting like middle-school girls, hard-core behavior just sort of shrugged off, some bad acting, all in all a very disappointing flick.

I'd love to see the very same basic circumstances and characters in the hands of much better writers and a director who knows what to do with them.

Also, the film often had the production feel of a low-budget TV movie.

Not recommended except to soak in the looks of the young ML and his best friend.

5/10

the issue with you is, you believe everything u hear way to quickly. Preaching, why do you guys care blah blah,…
You sound like a heartsick lover who got jilted. You're very dramatic. Sorry, but our affair was entirely in your imagination, such as it is.

"...you live in ur head to much." As opposed to you, who rarely visits their head, not even on weekends.

I like my way better. Thinking before typing is a good thing.

Wow, that's a long-ass comment coming from you, even if it is borderline psycho. You seem upset. Are you OK?

"I've talk to u on this app in many occasions b4 and u always like to play victim and act like ppls friends after being a complete dick. That's who you are."

Are we in grade school? Did I ignore you on the playground?

" i said multiple times i do agree with you but the way u do shit isnt okay."

Oh dear. I'll stop doing the "way I do shit" immediately.

I know ONE person who very much "...cares about me and my stupid opinions:" YOU. lol Following me all over MDL, drinking up my comments, loving them but hating them, wanting me but being repulsed by me. I think it's all become too much for you and you may snap. Why don't you do yourself and your psychiatrist a favor and block me?

Do you expect them to start sucking face in a park after the first confession??
hahaha...I know. But those were some of the very first BLs I stumbled across before I knew what a BL was, almost three years ago. I remember when the first "kiss" happened and they leaned into each other stiffly, but you could tell their mouths were nowhere near each other, and the camera went swooping this way and that so we couldn't see their faces. I was like "What the fuck is happening?"

Why? Why do you hope they last? How does their relationship, if there is one, effect your life?
I KNEW you'd be the type who finds more than two sentences in a comment to be a challenge to your tiny mind.

First thing: Why do you respond to comments you claim to not have read? If you don't read them, how do you know what's in them? Or are you just lying, and you actually read them and then pretend you don't?

Second thing: This comment you're refusing to read because it's "all that" is no longer than the one YOU wrote, to which I was responding.

Third thing: Are you a moron?

On edit: Sorry this is so long.

lol Could you explain how I "play the victim?" Are you objecting to my having real emotions about entertainers I admire killing themselves?" If so, f**k you.

I have never read any dating "scandal" stories except on MDL, you cretin. And I read them because it's wise to read articles one wishes to comment on.

I'll make this very simple, because YOU are simple: I don't care one spec about whether or not these two actors are dating. I care very much that MDL keeps printing stories like this. Think very sloooooowly and perhaps you'll be able to grasp the difference. Or maybe not.

You're out of control and ranting now. It's hilarious that you're jealous of ppl in comments "agreeing with" me. I know, it's so awful when that happens. So you thought you'd step in with your nonsense and teach me what's what, eh?

Loon.

I really dislike when smoking is a good thing in a story.Outside of that, it was a nice watch. They succeed to…
Some people smoke. I don't; I think it's gross. But some people smoke IRL, so some people smoke in movies. Actually, when he first pulled out the cigs I thought "I think this is the first cig smoking I've seen in a Strongberry piece."

Interesting. I hate dead fish kisses more than anyone else on the planet, and this kiss didn't read that way to me. I took it as a sweet, very delicate first kiss between two guys just getting to know each other. It didn't have that stiff-mannequin feeling I got from shows like SOTUS and SOTUS S.

Strongberry rocks.

Every single time.

Han Hyun Jun is a talented actor. I hope his career takes off.

There was nothing wrong with this. Flawless. 10/10

Oh, you poor baby, someone has put a gun to your head and forced you to read my comments.

I have news for you: Anyone who reads comments under one of these stupid, intrusive stories HAS ALREADY CLICKED ON THE LINK AND READ THE STORY. See how that works? No one who hasn't already read about this alleged "relationship" will read my comments about it. Can you wrap your little brain around that?

I am not posting links to this story on BL and movie pages, screaming "get over to the front page and read this new intrusive dating story!!!"

It's telling that you equate telling someone face-to-face, in real life, that you're sorry their family member has died, with leaving a comment on the Internet. Apparently, you don't know the difference.

Now go try to tell off someone else. Perhaps they'll give a shit what you think. I don't.

The worst thing for me is that it is difficult to distinguish between gossip about an actor's private life or…
You are absolutely right, and I never ran into this shameless form of headline writing until I came to MDL. I don't recall what headline it was but the first one used two actors' real names and claimed one had hit the other or something. I don't usually pay attention to MDL front-page articles but I thought "wow, did they really do that?" and foolishly clicked on the link.

Of course, the altercation took place in some stupid drama, but that info didn't show up until within the story. I had never seen such a thing in any entertainment reporting in the U.S. "ROBERT DOWNEY JR. RAPES SCARLETT JOHANNSEN, ARRESTED IN NEW YORK CITY..." Then it turns out this happened within the plot to a new movie they were co-starring in. No, that has never, ever happened in a normal country.

This is a decent rant, and I agree with you. Some how, some way, I came to really like this website, and almost…
Bravo. Well-written.

Like you, there is much about MDL I like. I don't have the fortitude to stick with most of the K and J dramas, so I'm mainly a feature-film, gay-themed film, and BL user here. But I Iove that each show has a page, you can rate and comment on shows, all that stuff. I enjoy keeping "Best of..." type lists and being able to look back at what I've watched, what I've dropped, etc.; this place is remarkable in many ways.

But also like you, i HAAAAAAAATE trash-gossip articles like this. Beginning way back in 2009 with the self-hanging death of Korea's most popular actress, her manager, and her brother, then the 2010 suicide of Park Young Ha, a popular actor from the first wave of K-dramas who had leveraged his fame in Japan into becoming one of the most successful Hallyu singers, I have been horrified by the never-ending tide of celebrity suicides in Korea.

Then Jonghyun, of SHINee, the only K-Pop group I took seriously; an almost unbelievably gifted young man, killed himself in 2017 at the age of 27. I cried like a baby. Then the next year, Sulli and Gu Hara. Then two months later, Cha In Ha, who I admired for his acting talent from "Love With Flaws," checked out, also at the age of 27. In April of 2023, the phenomenally talented K-Pop star, Moonbin died by suicide. Eight months later, the Korean king of actors, he of the resonant baritone speaking/singing voice, Lee Sun Kyun, took his life, alone in the middle of the night in his parked car, after agonizing months of abuse from the press and public.

There are dozens more celebs dead by suicide from 2005 until now. In the U.S., where I live, this tsunami of suicides would be a non-stop, top of the page headlines, huge story. There'd be TV news specials about the problem. People would be distraught and upset, wondering who was next and why.

In Korea...mostly crickets. Every time another celeb kills themself, we are mostly told to shut up and pretend it didn't happen, "for the sake of the family, as they send off their loved one to be a twinkling star in the heavens, watching over us." You know the drill. It is so...sick.

So what does MDL do? What they've always done, is intrude on the personal lives of entertainers as if it's their and our business. A lot of these articles are mainly an excuse to list all the celebs' upcoming projects, blah blah blah. How about writing articles ABOUT the projects and skip the personal stuff? Too hard?

Anyway, the editors of MDL have not learned a damn thing and this article is proof of that. On we go, same old, same old, until the next time someone hangs themselves from a bedpost or fires up the briquets. WTF?

Sorry to rant again, but this is a seriously emotional topic for me, which is why I go off on MDL every time they play their part in the twisted K-celeb/fan death culture.

The number of Korean celebs who have taken their lives from about 2005 until now is staggering, and in almost every case intrusive, unethical cyber-bullying and horrific character assassination in the press has been the cause.
