Hamas is hiding and fighting from in, around, under, and above Gazan civilians. International laws of war clearly state that when that is the case the places they are hiding become legitimate targets. This is on Hamas, and all the Gazans who knew good and well where many of the entrances to those tunnels and stashes of weapons have been for many years. Hamas didn't build 300 miles of tunnels overnight.

Again, you're not very intelligent. Since October 7th, when Hamas started this, no more than 20,000 Gazan civilians have been killed. That's less than 1% of the 2.3 MILLION population in six months. Yet, you screech hysterically that Israel is trying to kill "EVERY PERSON IN THE GAZA STRIP." lol If they're trying to kill all Gazans, they would simply start mowing them down with machine guns everywhere they see them.

He very clearly said he is "proud to be Israeli." That's what he's proud of. It's unfortunate that Hamas' October 7th atrocities led to Israel's attack on Gaza, but Hamas knew exactly what would happen and did it anyway. Hamas also killed 1,200 "innocent people" on October 7th. Are you proud of that?

Thanks for the extra clarification on what that was all about. However, what Qian is expressing here is just another perhaps even more insidious, form of homophobia.

It's no different than saying "I'm totally OK with an acquaintance marrying a Black person, but it's a problem if my sibling marries a Black person." To me, that's a dead giveaway that the speaker isn't OK with interracial marriage at all. They're just not ready to admit being a bigot.

But what makes this even more interesting, is that I believe Qian is playing dumb. He is fully aware of Yuan's feelings for him and his for Yuan. He's simply not willing to acknowledge any of it yet, so he chooses denial. To him, their mutual attraction is something he sees from the corner or his eye but refuses to look at straight-on.

He's admitted to NEVER having had a girlfriend or even anyone he's interested in, which is highly unlikely were he straight. "I don't have time for that" doesn't cut it as a sufficient or believable reason. And knowing all this in his heart, it's a tad cruel of him to accept Yuan's attentions and lead him on if he intends to never face the truth.

Kind of stupid, but also sweet. I teared up. lol

But anyway, at least 10,000 are Hamas fighters, which leaves around 20,000 dead out of 2.3 MILLION people, of 1-2% of the population. If what Israel is doing in Gaza is "genocide," which it's not, it's the least effective genocide in the history of the world. lol
