Jesus. If you have feelings, then you have feelings. It is what you do in response to those feelings that matter. Not everyone is holy and pure of thought, word, and deed as were you, allowing her feelings for dudes to automatically cut themselves off at the age of 18. You are so full of crap.
yh ppl wierd for that but we have all had crushes on our teachers b4 rightðŸ˜ðŸ’€
It's worthy of note that you did NOT include a link to this garbage. 1. Just because people use a word incorrectly does not mean the word now assumes that incorrect meaning. 2. Are you suggesting the student in this series is under 16 years of age? lol
yh ppl wierd for that but we have all had crushes on our teachers b4 rightðŸ˜ðŸ’€
I most definitely do NOT respect your ridiculous and ignorant idea that "pedophilia" and "adult-minor relationship" are necessarily the same. I respect opinions based on reality.
There's actually another power game at play here, as it is Student=minor Teacher=authority figure. People would…
Are you saying that when the teacher is 30 and the student is 25, your "power balance" fantasy will still be an issue? What about at 50 and 45? Will that even things out? Where do you weirdos get your twisted perspectives on human relationships, which almost never fit into neat categories of right/wrong.
An older friend of mine married one of her college professors, at least 15 years older than her. Many years later, they are still together. What's it to you?
ikrr I think I'm going to start creating multi-accounts to make this go back to 8.3, people are so ignorant...
Because MDL is dominated by self-righteous prudes, in its membership and management. Just the fact that this series involves a student/teacher potential romance is enough for the Church Ladies here to rate it 1/10.
It is not "illegal" for a teacher to date a student as long as the student is no longer a minor. It is only against…
The OP isn't interested in the actual meaning of words and using them in a proper context. Nor does it care about laws or school policies being rigorously adhered to. What it cares about is expressing self-righteous, ignorant, SJW concerns about sexual issues it doesn't understand. The OP's statement/question above is performative in nature, ie. "look at me, I'm on-trend with the latest in Puritanical/Church Lady ideas about sex and relationships."
Yes, it was released before the scandal. And no announcement about cancelling disc/digital releases so far.
Wow. This entire psycho post is nothing but projection. Have you ever heard the old phrase "When you point the finger at someone else, there are four other fingers pointing at YOU?"
Hoo boy...22 years old. Wow, that's a whole lot of life experience you've to there. How about waiting 'til you've doubled that before you begin to think you know much.
You didn't answer as to who it is you think you are, imagining that you are in a position to judge anyone but yourself? Are you a minister? A prophet of god? Is your own personal life entirely spotless?
What's especially sad about people like you is that you are PROUD of your viciousness, cruelty, and hatefulness, all of which is the source of your need to destroy other people. Would it kill you to say nothing, rather than choosing to say horrible things?
Other indicators of who and what you are. You called me, someone you do not know, other than my opinion that private lives are none of your concern, a: "Crazy psycho...' "Piece Of Shit..." "Serial cheater..." "Crazy..." Yeah, you sound like a really nice, rational, godly person; you're definitely in a position to judge others.
"...suicides in the entertainment industry have nothing to do with cheaters being held responsible for their actions." You keep telling yourself that. It's the very attitude that leads to "netizens" endlessly harassing/insulting/humiliating celebrities and entertainers online, some of whom reach their breaking point and take their own lives. If you deny that to be true, you're in denial.
And isn't it fun for you that you get to lob these insults at me and celebrities from the cover of Internet anonymity. Tell me your name, your phone number, and your address. Then we'll see how brave you are about trashing other people online.
It's only happened what seems like a few hundred times now. Pay attention to this (very incomplete) list of Korean celebs you and others like you, with your vile, self-righteous online hate, have driven to death by suicide:
Astro's Moonbin U;Nee Kim Jin Soo Song Yoo Jung Lee Jihan Choi Sung-Bong Kim Jongh Hyun Goo Hara Hae Soo Yoo Ju-Eun Jung Chae-yu Jang Ja-yeon Park Yong Ha Ahn Jae-hwan Choi Jin-sil Lee Seo-hyun Kim Suk-gyun Jang Chae-won Lee Eun-ju Roh Moo-hyun Daul Kim Cha In Ha Choi Jin Young Jeon Mi-seon on and on it goes...
But yeah, you keep dishing it out, brave one. I'll be watching this space for your reply with your name and contact info so we can investigate how much of a perfect life you have led.
Yes, it was released before the scandal. And no announcement about cancelling disc/digital releases so far.
What people do in their private lives is none of your freaking business in their public lives. Perhaps you and all the other Asian "netizen" losers should get lives of your own so you'll have something worth-while to pay attention to.
How old are you? 10? Affairs ARE normal, have been around for thousands of years and unless some kind of crime was committed, have zero bearing on the value or quality of an entertainer's product.
Assuming you ARE older than ten, how about YOU? Have you had an affair? More than one? How do we know? Can you prove you haven't? If you can't, then consider STFU and drop the assumption that you're in a position to pass judgement on anyone's behavior but your own.
I don't know where you live, but your attitude on this is a huge reason behind the tragic number of suicides in the Korean entertainment industry.
Generally, I agree with you. It's obvious that high school pupils have their sexual desires and even first experiences.…
Exactly. And that is why I watch very few films of any genre out of China. Just recently, I tried a couple Chinese flicks because an actor I liked in a movie from before the ban was in them. But both were WW2 flicks, and so full of propaganda and bullshit I couldn't stand it. "City of Life and Death" is awesome, but screw watching anything dramatic out of that wasteland. It all has this sanitized feel to it; intensity and desire is tamped down.
What are u expecting from two high school boys who lived in the era of around 2000 in the asian country??? Please…
Who said anything about "erotic gay romance?" But thanks for the tell that you're another MDL prude.
And what? You think gay high school boys in 2000 in China didn't have sexual desires, and that they never expressed them? Get real. No, I do not respect this show for "portraying the breeze of our past self," whatever the hell that means. There's no "past" about it. The fact of continued censorship of gay-themed material by the Chinese government is very much a problem of the "present."
Quite possibly the most laugh-out-loud funny and enderaing first episode of any BL ever.
"Candy?" "Yes. I keep it in my pocket. If you'd like to eat some, come see me any time." hahahaha...lol...omg
I don't know how this show can match the wonder of episode1 with each succeeding episode, but I sure hope it does.
Toki Kanade is, apparently, a comic genius, as well as being incredibly sexy/hot/handsome. Not a lot of actors who can convey a character who is equal parts bad-boy thug and middle-school fangirl, crushing on her teacher. The way he uses that handsome rubber face to make all kinds of expressions I wasn't expecting is spectacular. Kizu Takumi's role is much less slap-stick but he seems perfect for it, and the Third Year nerd is as hot and funny in his own way as is Kanade.
I do wonder if the director chickened out a bit by casting such a youthful actor in the role of the teacher, so as to comfort pervs like the commenter below who is worried this show might be about a "pedo." Good god. By casting an actor as the teacher who could just as easily be playing a student, the visual impact of even a slight age gap is eliminated, which is too bad. So what if the characters are five years apart? I hope the show as a whole doesn't ultimately back away from the age difference.
But I digress...this thing is funnier than hell. Also endearing and original-feeling. It's not often we get a butch, BL romantic lead who isn't afraid of the gay crush he is experiencing.
I'm reading all the positive comments and i wanna watch but the premise is quite irky, does this give off pedo…
Dear god, again with the ignorant, MDL "pedo" bullshit.
Since you obviously don't care to do so yourself, I'll educate you: "Pedophilia" is very specifically defined as involving an adult and a PRE-PUBESCENT CHILD. If you don't know what "pre-pubescent" means, look it up. I like to define it as "pre-pubes" to make it easy for people like you to understand.
Does the high school student in this show look like he does or does not have pubes? Answer: He does. Therefore, this is in no way, shape, or form a show involving pedophilia.
Total gay-bait, homo-hating, censored Chinese romance bullshit. The people who eat this up have serious internalized homophobia issues.
Overall message of this series: Gay relationships are so revolting, sick, perverse, immoral, and contrary to healthy cultural norms that the best we can show here is two best friends who act kind of gay once in a while, but without ever, in any way, credibly displaying gay affection.

Two momentary highlights, both involving Sorn's bare ass: About ten minutes in and then again at about 1:16:00. Other than that, it's terrible.
Dropped
