I was spoiled that Sarawat like Tine all along, and that makes me squee every time he's nice to Tine. This is good.

You know, if they don't promote DewBlue in the posters & trailers, I would've thought that Dew and Champ are a thing and Dew is just protecting his hubby from Blue. :P

Now that the romance part is in full gear, apparently the two younger Yuans and their best friends aren't couples yet... even though practically everyone around them think they are couples.

So the rest of the series is just the 6 of them systematically resolving their sexual tensions one by one? Sounds good, I'm in.

Lin Xun's mom said she won't keep Yuan's baby, so she had an abortion, then had Lin Xun quickly after.

And yes, the Korean brother is very dramatic. All the unnecessary actions just to swab Lin Xun's mouth. He could just ask...

Half the series just to resolve the family drama. Next episode we'll finally get some romance.

What's with the Korean Yuan's overly mysterious manner? Like a detective character in movies.

But now that the story finally moves forward, I'm glad this entire series won't just revolve around whether Lin Xun is genuinely Yuan's son or not.

That's their storyline though. The usual "jealousy makes me realize/admit I think of you as more than friend".

As for Jun Ping... He's a spoiled kid and it shows. His friend does all the work.

Episode 3 feels like a filler, no? Nothing much besides reiterating what we already knew. And I thought for once we wouldn't have a 'crazy girl' problem. Oh well...

Episode 2. So Lin Xun is indeed the long lost brother, although he might not be Yuan's son as a plot twist.

I have to say, this series is so dramatic, it's cheesy. But I wouldn't say I'm not enjoying it. We get two kind-of-established couples from the beginning (middle & youngest Yuan, and their respective partners), so it'll be a nice change from the usual thrill-of-the-hunt romance.

As in the storyline. I know they'll be a couple, but I didn't expect Tanthai to be that flirty, and DewBlue to end up as buddy.

Everybody already said a lot about the main couples, so let me say, I didn't expect that JapanTanthai and DewBlue development.

I said I 'didn't'. I wrote that description first, then I realized "wait, doesn't he have a name?", then checked the cast list and added his name in parentheses.

Exactly, since I didn't know his name I described him as "the bottom of the first couple" because I'm pretty sure everyone knows who I'm talking about with that description.

I thought I'm just stating the obvious? I wouldn't have said that, but the first ep don't actually mentioned his character name at all; I got it from the cast list here.

Yeah, I have to say the constant switching between Chinese and Korean is a bit cheesy.

The lyrics of the opening song makes me brace for a sad ending. And I assume the bottom of the first couple is the long lost brother? (Do you realize they don't mention his name at all in the first episode? It's Lin Xun but I only know it from the cast list here.)

Remember in the trailer the first couple is kissing on a random cliff? I swear if the writer makes them jump or fall off or something...

Just googling it, seems it's not only legal but actually expected.

The novel is titled Love Sand. I couldn't find any English summary for it though.

All I know is that the couple is Kom & Connor (a Canadian Thai). Connor comes to the resort for holiday, and Kom becomes his tour guide. Kom tries to be professional, but Connor is hot & flirty af, so what's he gonna do? Reject him? Ofc not.

As for the dowry, when it's time for Connor to go home, he decides he'd go to Kom's parents and presents the extravagant dowry so he could take Kom to Bangkok with him (talk about expensive souvenir). It actually works, and Kom goes with Connor.

In Bangkok, Kom is disoriented from being in a new environment, and he feels like a prostitute from basically being a sugar baby. So, despite the blooming romance with Connor, he decides to run away back home in the final act of the book. But ofc, Connor proves his love, gets his wife back, and live happily ever after.
