In the novel cover, Sarawat is taller than Tine and is obviously the seme, but the drama made them quite balanced. I couldn't tell who's seme or uke from the trailer, and that's a good thing.
The bittersweet ending itself isn't necessarily bad. I think it's ok, considering they only have 1 episode to tie up everything.
I must say, taking this series as a whole, if someone ask me to summarize the story, I wouldn't be able to come up with a neat summary... What's the main conflict again? What's the climax? It has that sitcom feel where different issues are brought up every 2-3 episodes.
The 4 high school friends (the twins + the 2 other guys), how should we ship them? How can we call ourselves true BL lovers if we leave 4 cute guys unshipped? That's heresy!
If this is any other drama, someone like Type would've been the antagonist. :P He hits all the mark: petty revenge, potentially abusive, and possessively in love with the protagonist.
People that have read the novel, what is Dean thinking when Pharm just suddenly start sobbing out of nowhere? Does he have flashback too? He doesn't even ask "what's wrong?", just "it's ok". So does he know why Pharm suddenly cries?
Sun Bo is surprisingly mature, a side of him that he really only show to his beloved Zhi Gang. Plus he can make Zhi Gang goes all shy, something that I didn't expect will ever see.
Hey guys, this is my first comment/review ever on this site. Here are my thoughts on tharntype the series so far:…
From the novel, there is a scene where Type give Tharn oral, and Type hates the taste of cum. So I assume he gave Tharn flavoured condom (oral-only) as a way to say, "I'm willing to suck you again, but use condom". That's why Tharn mentions all the flavours.
I am really mad. Woah, Type... what the fuck?? He?? Hit?? Tharn?? This relationship is kinda toxic.. when Type…
I wouldn't use the word 'toxic' though. People makes mistake; people can be emotional, irrational, and immature. And that's ok, as long as he seeks a way to fix the problem and not let it escalates (which he did). Conflict is a normal part of any relationship, it's how they resolve it that's important.
Of course, it'll happen again in the next episode. And again, we'll need to consider how they solve their fight, not merely at why or what's happening during it.
Btw, the neighbor that got 10B as a dowry, that's Kom.

That second-to-last scene with the song really gets me. This series really know how to do the music.
One thing for sure: I'm excited for their date!

Also, romance is definitely not the focus. I'll just skim through the series in the future.
It does sound a bit creepy though, the way he talks about Tharn's former cuteness.

Also, from the order the cast are introduced, it seems Ram (mixed-race guy) is the uke? That's surprising (could just be accidental though).
