Hey is it a romance drama cause I've heard somewhere thai it's somehow a intense romantic one
No! It has 2 sides: On one side we have bullies like the worst kind of criminals, kind of a psychological drama; On the other side, we have good friends trying to help each other, so a nice friendship drama. But no romance.
If Michelangelo made a drama, it would be this series.
I don't know where to start! Only the colors are enough to make you feel everything. Blue is the king, different shades of it bring all kinds of emotions. It brings me back to my other-worldly memories of free-diving in the ocean. One moment dark blue/black was suffocating me and the next moment light blue in the sky meant a new life for me. And then Green, and after that Yellow and Red ...You don't need to pay attention to characters and talks, just colors and background scenes are enough to feel characters.
The story is great as well, reminding me of "In the Mood for Love "(2000). All actors do a good job; Kadowaki Mugi in particular is fantastic!
Great work, Congrats, we need more articles like this! Interesting that as for Sakamoto Yuji and his endings, I wrote the same thing 2 years ago: That the ending of Mother (2010) is totally forced, uncharacteristic of Nao (the mother), just "to glorify pain" as Yuji wants!
Note to readers: If this person hates on the drama then it's most likely a good drama. This person leaves nothing…
I didn't read his/her other reviews, but this one makes sense to me. I love both Nagano Mei and Toda Erika. Also I had so much fun with the first 2 episodes, but then things went downhill. For example, maybe 'Kawai' character was first funny, but it's not cool to give Nagano Mei a character that suits a 10 years old better, after all she is a policewoman here. Overall, I was excited first, but now really disappointed.
I assumed that it was you who asked for Torrent files of this series on AvistaZ. And I said sorry, because I noticed that what I uploaded on AvistaZ isn't what you (or a person with your namr on AvistaZ) wanted.
No, in some Slavic language, but when you add the English sub, it almost covers it totally. The hardsub isn't that annoying. Anyway I still hope I can find the first 7 episodes in raw as well. I uploaded the Eng sub on Avistaz
Now check again. I found the raws file of the last 3 episodes in 720p and the rest huarsubbed (but now annoying) in 720. I'll upload them on Nyaa and AvistaZ.
My unpopular view: too sentimental, too cliche, just trying to make you cry from the first second to the last to hide its lack of real content. Some serious issues about parenthood and single parents are brought up, but instead of taking them seriously, the series just relies on some general cliches like motherhood is holy and so forth.
I keep saying the world is bigger than US to remind you that this derogatory usage of JAP began in the US. People in many other parts of the world just use it as a natural contraction word.
Don't worry about the Japanese & me, be worried about yourself that can start a debate over nothing. There are already many people like those in Hong Kong and Singapore who use JAP in its natural meaning, not derogatory one and Japanese people and all sane people already know that. It's ridiculous to let some racist Americans decide for us how to understand such a natural contraction word. Maybe in the future some racist Americans understand JPN as a derogatory term. We don't care either. The world is bigger than the US.
Who want to impose their belief? Maybe you already forgot, but it was you who began this over a comment about this drama, saying that the user shouldn't use JAP and should use JPN instead. And considering the US as the whole world is this: 'JAP' is the natural way to contract 'Japanese,' So people used it for decades without any problems. But then during the second world war, some Americans used it in derogatory manner. And now people like you want everyone everywhere in this world to stop this natural way of contraction because those Americans did that. This is ridiculous, in fact more than ridiculous.
When I said the world is bigger than the USA and people like you need to get this, I mean this: In Singapore and Hong Kong the term is used freely as a contraction of the adjective "Japanese" rather than as a derogatory term. Do you think Japanese people began a fight over this? No, because they have common sense and know that there is no derogatory intention. And with a little common sense, anyone can get that this MDL user used it this way. After all, here we have people from all over the world who are interested in Asian, including Japanese dramas. It's not just for American people, some of them might have racist attitude toward Asians.
Your analogy is irrelevant. We talked about a word-JAP-not mass murdering-Holocaust. Words get different meanings in different contexts. JAP is derogatory in a specific context, USA, but not everywhere. At some point in our lives, we all need to learn that the world is bigger than USA or any other country.
If those American used it that way, it's their problem. It doesn't mean that all people in the world should be worried about JAP vs JPN just because some Americans did that. After all, the world is bigger than the US.
Everyone says nice things about the drama, so for a change, let me say this: I have many problems with the stories, but let's just focus on the main one: 14 year-old boy kills and slaughters a 5 year-old girl without any empathy and then he's had a normal family and environment? I can't buy this premise. So many things should go wrong to make a teen so cruel and emotionless. Unless all the causes get known, nothing about him, his future, atonement, ... can be said. Beside, when things like this happen, I think the blame should be put more on the environment (family, neighbourhood, school, society) than the teen. Not that the family is necessarily evil, maybe they are decent people, but then the other social factors should be considered. In any case, a 14 year-old isn't an adult and it's not fair to blame everything on the young teen and ask them for atonement for the rest of their life.
