After my initial dislike, I began to grow feeling for Ichigo. I first thought she was a total jerk, but now I believe with a good guy, she is totally fine. If there is no one there to take her, I can do that. She looks kawai as well.
I'm not positive, but I think the youngest was Motokaria Yuika from 2005 asadora Fight... she was 17 for the entirety…
Yes, during the war, the whole Iran lived with Oshin. It was broadcasted once a week (maybe each time around 40-45 min) and the whole week people were waiting for that.. In those difficult times, Iranians didn't have much to enjoy, so watching Oshin dealing with all her life challenges was inspiring for people I guess. A while back, I wrote something about this, but now I can't find it. The title was "Death Sentence for Loving Jdorama Too Much: A Real Story from Iran" . In a radio show, when a young woman was asked who was your role model, she said Oshin, instead of Fatemah, a female religious figure. Because of this, she got the death sentence by Khomeini, the leader. She had to repent to save her life.
I love the movie, but honestly Tsubame-chan doesn't have a big problem in her life that needs some magical stuff. Even if she asked me, I could help her:)
If it's the bits where the camera work changes and Mikuri is talking like she's being interviewed by someone,…
In many J-doramas, there is no clear boundary between real and fantasy, so they shift from this to that continuously. At first, it might be weird and maybe annoying, but when you get used to it, it just adds more fun and content. At least, it's been like that for me:)
She probably does like that he's cute and a little clumsy, but maybe also that he tries hard, seems sincere &…
Thanks for the explanation. I don't know much about this kind of nurturing role, so maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I can see, at least in the early stage of their love, the FL doesn't show any sign that she sees the guy with such a role. Honestly I still don't know if I should take the drama and relationship this seriously. Maybe it's more for fun? But I'm happy that that their relationship seems to develop and they become more really involved in each other, then maybe we can judge better.
True! Novel on the other hand showed clearly how both were to be blamed for their condition. A good mother, who…
Thanks a lot for the explanation. I haven't read the novel, so have to judge based on what you wrote. You said: " the daughter didn’t know her mother’s actions were in the end for her own good and blamed her mother for everything wrong in her life." First: you mentioned 'it's for her own good'. This is exactly what the paternalist view claim , but it doesn't make it less blameworthy. It's disrespecting and destroying the other person's identity. It's what called a toxic relationship. So the other part has all rights to cut all connections from such a relationship. Second: she 'blamed her mother for everything wrong in her life'. Maybe it was the case, but this is not on part with the mother has done to her. It's like saying that both Nazis and Jews are blameworthy, Nazis for what they did to jews and jews for blaming everything on Nazis (let's assume the jews really did that). Hurting someone and blaming someone who hurt you for everything are 2 totally different things. Overall, I found the drama and novel (as much as you explained) a shameful defence of traditional relationship in its most toxic shape. Sorry if I was too harsh, but when it comes to defenceless kids and toxic parenthood, I'd like to be honest and frank, to the best of my knowledge.
I'm not going to watch this, but really curious to see how Minami Sara acts here. I've seen a couple of movies from her and I really liked her acting. Hopefully she can show her acting skill in her first big project
Maybe I don't get it, but the first story (episode 1-2) ends in a non-sensical way: So the daughter to blame? And it's fine that the mother makes the bf break up with her daughter because the mother knows better? And then it's fine to check everything about your 27-year-old daughter and correct her every time you think she makes a mistake? It seems ridiculous to me
the songs are actually great, i wonder if they're available for streaming. but music aside, the story itself is…
Agree. To me, it's kind of without a real story, so I feel they ruined their creative idea. I wish they'd have more balance between music and story, maybe one song per episode does the job better.

Hopefully an Eng sub will be found someday for people like me!
