She probably does like that he's cute and a little clumsy, but maybe also that he tries hard, seems sincere &…
Thanks for the response:) This kind of gender flipping is new and weird to me, but I'm ready to accept it, as everything in this world changes, and this includes relationships and their patterns. But here comes the follow-up I talked about: If Takane sees Yuwaki this way, then she considers herself as someone who's supposed to support and help her clumsy, younger, subordinate at work, ... beloved. So, she is kind of super-woman in this relationship. So far so good, but this is not consistent with that super-feminine personality she has in her day-dreaming at home. This suits the old traditional relationship in which the female is kind of like a kid, needing support of a strong man. At this point, you might say that it's just some fluff element for fun. I'm ready to accept this, but I want to first make sure that relationship-wise, there is nothing serious that I'm missing:)
A philosophical question: Why Takane-san fell in love with Yuwaki? Some men love a woman because she is clumsy, like a kid, ... this sort of things, so is Takane's love like that? With the difference that this time a woman loves a man because he is stupid? This seems weird to me! If I get a response, I might have a follow-up to this, but let's see:)
I enjoyed this but I'm not a fan of the mothers storyline. Yes she was controlling & negative, but it was weird…
Worse and much worse was that even now, he is kind of proud of that: 'I loved both my wife and her equally ...' This was so disgusting to me, didn't expect to hear this in a J-dorama. So I don't know what exactly her wife 'forgave' when he believes he didn't do anything wrong. Even when people confess that they did something wrong, accepting their apology isn't that easy, but here there was not even a simple apology in the first place
I liked that everyone sort of went their own way in the finale but then the whole build up to it was not satisfactory.…
You might already knew and watched it, but anyway, I enjoyed another work of my beloved Fuka in https://kisskh.at/62143-youkai-share-house. Unlike this one, I enjoyed the story, both logically and morally.
Have you watched Youkai Sharehouse? That was a great drama and Koshiba Fuka was the FL
ありがと:) I finished it and really liked it! Generally I don't feel comfortable with this kind of super-natural stuff, but it was really warm and pleasant. Fuka is really fantastic, isn't she? And other actors also did well!

Not really. Because of Fuka, a while back, I read its synopsis, but I'm not into monster horror stuff. But maybe I'll give it a try, thanks for recommending this:)
While I agree that this drama has been disappointing, this screenwriter has actually written some really good…
Oh, now I remember things! In Boku no Ita Jikan, there is a sensei guy that when he sees that the ML is sick, he grabs the chance and get the FL for himself. To me, he is one of the worst, but the drama treats him as someone normal and without problem. So, the ML even apologizes to him and then he hits the ML. That was ridiculous! But overall, I love the drama, watch some parts of it many many timers!

Hum, actually I love Boku no Ita Jikan. I should rewatch Osozaki no Himawari as it was a long time ago I watched it, but surely I didn't dislike it. But A Life (2017) was one of my worst J-dorama experience, so maybe screen-writer+director is a deciding factor. Just as a question: if I remember correctly, in Osozaki no Himawari, the sister of FM also was on the verge of betrayal, as her husband was kind of terrible. But at the end, she comes back to her husband, right? I'm not sure the drama explained why.
I said more than a month ago that I didn't expect a good story:) Based on another drama I watched from the screen-writer, at the end, the family make peace between themselves; not that they really solve their problems, they just 'understand' each other better and everything will be fine. I just hope my beloved Koshiba Fuka choose better works, like the excellent Tokatsu Gagaga!
