Looks interesting, but I'm a bit hesitant because I can't really tell from the trailer what kind of horror this is. Can anyone who's watched so far give me any insight? Is this more psychological or is there more jump-scare type horror?
Welcome to MDL The Untamed page, where all of us come back everyday now that we have watched the drama many times,…
LOL happy to be here! I imagine it's going to be a long road until we all cool off from Untamed Fever, hahaha. I've been watching so many BTS vids/interviews/rewatching episodes and there is no end in sight.
This is a very strong romance! As you said, with no room for intimacy, it's just that much more difficult to make their relationship shine. It's super rare nowadays to find couples in dramas whose chemistry is so strong yet quiet!
I need someone to talk about this with. Such an iconic drama with deep themes and outstanding acting! Seeing the horrible computer graphics at the beginning really made me let my guard down: I was not prepared to be this addicted.
I'm also oddly thankful for the censorship since it forced the show to make Wei Ying and Lan Zhan's relationship a lot more reliant on emotional cues between them. I mean, this turned out more romantic than many actual romance shows, lol. On-point!
I'm glad someone actually knows how to review things objectively without being biased because of IU, I absolutely…
Yes! I love many of the actors/actresses in this drama, IU included (of course). A bit of a shame that I didn't enjoy the show as much despite their good work, but props to them nonetheless. Thanks for your kind words! Should you end up writing a review, I would love to read more of your opinion!
That confession!! I screamed into my blanket! GET HIM, SI YOUNG.
The writing all-around is fantastic. Can't believe we're already halfway through! The plot still feels so fresh, as if this show just started yesterday. Keep going, writers!
I'm hooked on this show. Usually, I'm lukewarm to medical dramas because I get squirmish seeing all the gore, etc., but I'm so in love with how this one has been dealing with the euthanasia topic and just continuously building tension. That, and the chemistry between Ji Sung and Lee Se Young is ablaze!
Hoping that Chan Sung (and the visions he's seeing) is related more to the tree than to the guy in Man Wol's memories. I'm always iffy about the reincarnation trope and I don't think it would work well in this case.
The writing is still eh for me. I think Man Wol's character is pretty solid thus far and I'm happy with IU's acting, but I'm kind of sad that Chan Sung is already falling off the grid. Considering his supposed importance to Man Wol, he's a bit...unimportant...maybe with the next episode, it'll get better?
Couldn't agree more. Great visuals don't make a great story.....if it can't convey any message nor emotions then…
Glad that someone shares my sentiments! It's still early and I'm partial to the cast, so I don't want to make any solid judgments regarding the story yet. I definitely think there's potential for a lot of interesting plotlines, too.
Everything about the first two episodes is visually amazing and the acting is on par, but I'm a bit on the fence about the story thus far. Something isn't clicking yet. Crossing my fingers that it'll pick up soon, though!

Thanks to everyone who's working on this for all your hard effort! I'm really excited for what's to come, too!
