Excited to see Woobin after such a long time. Wish they had paired him and Shin Min ah though, that would be a dream come true for fans. I hope they'll at least a have a few scenes together. Any way it's great cast. Looking forward to it.
I like both Yang Yang and Reba, so I don't know why I didn't watch this until now. This is really nice. The first few episodes are a bit slow but the story starts to pick up from epi 5-6. The gaming parts can seem a little boring if you don't understand it but I am okay with it. I am fascinated by the aerospace engineering stuff and really enjoyed the gaming competition. And their chemistry is so good.
I think there's some disparities in the way psychology is practiced in different countries. For example, ItsBluelullaby13's…
Thanks for the info. Some reviews here said that hypnotherapy was overused in the drama or that it's pseudoscience when it is part of the premise of the show. What else would they show? And it was only used during counseling sessions. As far as I remember, cnetz said that as there are various methods, the drama did well in using just one method and keeping it consistent. The drama isn't making any claims that it is the one and only form of treatment. Maybe some reviews are also based on assumptions.
I watched a whole bunch of fmvs and clips to mark this special day. Needless to say, I am a sobbing mess. I laughed, cried and reminisced all those good times. SHL/WOH will never be just a show for me. It was my motivation and comfort last year and gave me so much happiness. No matter how things have changed now, one thing will never change. WOH happened. Those happy times when the series aired, the excitement of watching new episodes, those memories, can never be changed. Thanks to GJ, ZZH, ZY, SXL, MWY, HYM, LDK and the rest of the cast, crew, production, YK and even the one and only sponsor...the nuts that became a whole character in the show. Thanks to Priest for writing TYK and creating Wenzhou. WOH is a MASTERPIECE, a TIMELESS CLASSIC, a LEGEND. I hope everyone can remember the love, hardwork and sincerity that went into making this great series. I will never forget the feeling of hearing Tian Wen for the first time...ZZS on the rooftop, WKX perching on that wall waving his fan...all the times my heart fluttered seeing WKX. Hope everything will be okay someday.
The ice on top of the mountain will never melt. Flowers will bloom at Sijihua. Xiangning will find each other. Spring will come again. SHL will live on.
Thank you Gong Jun for being Wen Kexing, the character you immortalized on screen! I hope one day you'll be able to talk about SHL and WKX again. Happy Anniversary.
Happy Anniversary to my beloved WOH/SHL!!! I will come back and write a long post later coz I feel too emotional right now. I can't believe it's been a whole year already. It feels like yesterday.
I believe it’s still in modern day context, just that there will be some school elements to show how they all…
I am yet to read the novel so I've no clue. I didn't know there were school elements in it. So they know each other since their younger days. I'm getting really curious about the story. Where can I read it? I can't find any links.
Gong Jun is so gorgeous in the new stills as Xu Si!! There really isn't anyone more handsome than him!! Which year is the novel set in btw? The styling looks a bit retro to me. Has anyone translated the novel yet?
This drama is really good. I enjoyed it very much. Gong Jun was amazing as Lin Shen. I love how he always manages to become the character he plays rather than just 'acting' in it. He always manages to turn the character he plays into a real person. I loved our main couple. The chemistry was effortless and I very much enjoyed their slowburn romance. Qiao Xin was good as Xiao Xiao. I don't know why some people are complaining, I liked her. I also liked the secondary couples.
What's up with the MDL comments though? I'm surprised. This drama was actually praised by psychology students/psychologists while it was airing for depicting those aspects well. Which is why is got good reviews domestically in the first place. So I don't understand why people are complaining here. I am by no means an expert, so I'm just gonna say that liked how they portrayed those parts. The OST is great and acting was really good. Special mention to the actors playing Luo Luo and Sun Kele.
The only thing they could have done better was Fan Qi's story. They should have developed it a bit more IMO. I wanted to know a bit more about the brothers. The actor of Fan Qi was very good too. He did really well, especially in the last two episodes.
