Yes it's been like that since the vip airing. I thought the ratings would go up once it finishes non-vip airing coz more people would rate it but nothing changed. Then I thought it would go up once it airs on netflix but nothing changed either. it hasn't moved at all.

Yes a lot of big dramas are slated for next year. But I do hope some miracle happens and TBW gets aired in the Q2 at least so maybe LOA can air in Q4.

What??!! Where did you hear this? I do agree that they would want to put a gap between two of Reba's costume dramas but 2023 is too far.

Here for Gong Jun. I watched the first two episodes, going to watch the third now. It's ok, not bad. Some parts are a bit silly but obviously there are funny moments. Gong Jun did well with what he was given. This is an old drama after all. I am really surprised that he danced here when he is a non-dancer, this must have taken quite a bit of effort so kudos to him...and he is very cute in this. The editing is really bad though and they just jump from scene to scene but I'll keepp watching coz it's pretty fun if you don't take it too seriously.

Both GJ and Allen are popular and talented and Allen has had successful dramas in the past too whereas GJ's breakthrough role was WOH, so Allen has been popular for longer. One being popular won't lessen another's popularity though. The industry is big enough for both.

Making comparison between actors always leads to unnecessary discussions. It doesn't matter who's more popular or who's been popular for a longer period. LOA will release when it's time to release. C-ent is not K-ent. After filming, all dramas can take up to 8-12 months to to air. Whether the industry or domestic audience, no one bats an eyelid coz it's the norm. For foreign fans this might a little hard, but it's just something that we have to get used to.

I don't understand why you are trying so hard to prove Gong Jun isn't popular and started a whole popularity contest here. Nobody else was talking about who's more popular. The whole discussion was about when LOA might air. This is pointless.

Where did you get this from? C-ent already cancelled celebrity rankings lists since the last 6-7 weeks. Forget Gong Jun, there is no way Miles Wei is more popular than Xiao Zhan or Wang Yibo, whether domestically or internationally. They are pretty much A-list traffic stars. Miles Wei is steadily getting popular i guess, but he is not there yet. And also, he is not more famous than Gong Jun.

Any lists made or MDL are by MDL users according to their personal preferences and doesn't reflect any actual c-ent graphs.

I think it is too early to say whether Gong Jun shines in modern dramas or not. All the three dramas that aired after WOH are old dramas, GJ either signed them or filmed them before WOH aired, back when he wasn't popular. Two of them, The Player and Shining like You were shelved for years and only released now because of his current popularity.

Lol, lotus root soup was a character in TU just like the nuts here in WOH. The nuts are the only food that mattered here anyway.

I am sorry but whoever this person is, they do not know how drama production in c-ent works in general. It doesn't matter whether a drama has A-list/commercially valuable actors. Having enough sponsors don't matter either. There is no way it is going to air in just four months if it finishes filming in Nov because there is going to be post-production work and it has to be approved for airing as well. It is going to take 7-8 months at the very least, but Q4 seems like the expected timeframe.

If this guy is just going by the airing pattern of WOH, then he doesn't know the usual airing pattern of c-dramas. WOH was an exception, not the norm.

Gong Jun and Dilraba aren't the only commercially valuable stars. There are other big stars as well and there are plenty of examples of others big stars' dramas that are waiting to be aired for a long time. Audience visibility is also not as issue either. Actors can stay visible in many ways. Shining like you is currently airing and after that Dream Garden is expected going to air around december, but if it not, it's going to air early next year.

I just finished The Love Equations a few days ago and I am so glad there is another campus drama from Gong Jun. Good thing that they finally released this. I have a feeling this might turn out to be pretty good.

Oh, that makes sense. I haven't started reading the novel yet so I was wondering what the reason might be. I definitely don't think it looks cheap, just modest as the others cast are seen in more vibrant colors.

I do think they are beautiful and elegant, just a bit simple. I guess I wasn't expecting so much neutral colours and I was wondering why they went for this kind of look. WKX is more flamboyant and my eyes got used to seeing GJ in all those vibrant colors.

I really hope we haven't seen even half of it because when GJ went for the costume trials, it took him two days if I remember correctly and many of us thought there must be so many costumes. Also, GJs costumes look a bit plain compared to everyone else? I don't know, when they released the official pics during mid-autumn festival that's how I felt. I was hoping for a bit more color at least. Of course, the fabrics look expensive and there might be more details to them which aren't fully captured in the spoiler pics and he looks great in them. Anyway, I get excited when I see them too but I do agree that so many spoilers isn't a good idea.

So glad that it's finally getting translated. Waiting for the drama would be much easier now.

Lol, why is the food ugly? Besides all the nuts, I remember WKX's soup and chicken dish and the noodles that YBY had. They looked a bit bland maybe. What else was there?
