Don't worry, tgcf is famous and many people here know about it. It's just that this wall is for WOH so we tend not to discuss too much about other shows here, unless it comes up in a related discussion.

I wouldn't call it similar though. WOH and TGCF are different genres and have very different storylines. WOH is wuxia genre and tgcf is xianxia.

Three months since the concert, Three months since we got the family all together in such a beautiful atmosphere. I wish I could go and relive that moment again and again.

I miss WOH. Seriously, I am in awe of this drama even though months have passed. It's not just one or two things that make it special. It is the combination of everything really. Just like pieces of a puzzle fitting together perfectly. Amongst other things, it is visually so stunning. Every scene tells a story aside from being so aesthetically pleasing. This drama is proof that you don't need a big budget to make art. There are other dramas with much bigger budgets that don't look half as good. I could literally right an essay on every scene if I had the time. I don't have the time rewatch it fully now, but when I do I will atleast write something on my favourite scenes from each episode.

Speaking of favourite scenes, there is one from epi 1. ZZS in that black robe riding a horse in snow. Even if one didn't watch this show and just randomly came across that scene, they would be able to tell that that's one lonely and broken man, maybe not even knowing or caring where he is going...just making a journey faraway in cold, hard winter. That scene literally sums up the ZZS of episode 1. Beautiful and so well thought out. Kudos to team. They put their heart, soul and creativity into making WOH/SHL into the masterpiece that it is.

I wonder if we would have had more of Qiye and Wuxi in the drama, if it was longer (46 epis as it was originally intended). I really liked these two characters.

From the very first scene of the very first episode. It was exciting from the start. All those lanterns in the sky and then ZZH appearing on the rooftop, it was all so captivating. Actually I had no plans of watching this show. I was more interested in watching 2HA, Tgcf and SPL. I only saw one or two pictures of it from the set and didn't really pay much attention because no one really talked about this show. But when it started airing some of my friends shared that the main poster of ZZS and WKX in blue and red, and I was like okay, I have to watch this. The poster looks good (actually GJ and ZZH look good, lol). But yes, then I continued watching the episode and found the initial part pretty intense, though very intriguing, but later when WKX appeared in his pristine white glory, there was no turning back for me.

Exactly, no need to worry about their private lives. They know what's best for them. We should just focus on the work they put out and keep having fun on the mountain.

I want to talk about my favorite scenes too. I am not done discussing the show. I think about WOH every day. Nowadays I've been watching FMVs and old interviews of the cast.

The mountain is so quiet lately, it's getting a little bit awkward. I think many Shanrens became lost and confused after the recent happenings in the c-fandoms. Seriously, the four fandoms ( or rather six) fandoms contest was so ridiculous. International cdrama fans should stop paying heed to each and everything cfans do. I think Cdrama fans should take some notes from kpop fandoms ( though maybe it's not the best example). But kfans and ifans don't always agree on everything, but also unite when they have to during comebacks, voting, streaming etc. International kpop stans have their own identity while still belonging to the same fandom and sometimes people are multi-stans. It does not diminish their status as fans. I don't see why cdrama fans think they have to follow every footstep of cfans even if we are stanning the same stars. It's not a necessity.

The Shanren name is special to me. I love everything it represents. Remember the mountain has two peaks, the Wenzhou peak and the Junzhe peak and houses anyone who loves WOH/SHL. I don't know about others but I am gonna be here forever. It doesn't matter to me if Hanhan and Junjun are single or dating ( whoever it maybe and whenever it happens). I began loving them for their work. What matters is if they are happy and healthy. I am gonna support whatever decisions they make. What I believe in is the promise Junzhe made. What I saw was trust and mutual respect. It seems a lot of people truly underestimate and devalue friendship these days. Anyway, to each their own. At the end of the day, why I really got on the mountain for was WOH/SHL. I love Wenzhou, I love Junzhe ( together and individually) and also the other members of the team. I love how JunJun and Zhehan are talented, hardworking and beautiful inside out. As long as they retain their original heart, live and work diligently, they'll have my love and support.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that Wenzhou are always chilling at their peak, having snow and icy water. We should just chill too.

Yes, we totally deserve three versions of Tian Wen. The studio version of Yuning. Concert version with Zhehan and Junjun and acapella version with Junjun and Yuning. That would be cherry on top.

This is indeed a great drama. A true masterpiece full of amazing characters and storyline. If you are new to Wuxia or Xianxia or any historical cdramas, it might be a little difficult to understand at first. But don't worry. It all becomes clear as the story unfolds. It's full of surprises.

I also fell for Wen Kexing right away and he is my favourite character from the show. I won't give anything away but just wait till you watch epi 10. WKX is one of the most beautiful and intriguing characters I've come across in fiction, played masterfully by Gong Jun. You will be fascinated as you find out more about WKX. You will love Wenzhou, as well as other characters from the show.

Another WOH reunion of sorts. GJ and Liu Yuning will be working together in Legend of Anle. I have been imagining all sorts of scenarios involving Tian Wen ever since it was announced. Maybe we will get a Tian Wen duet with Junjun and Yuning.
