It would always be "ni ma" - that is "your mom" It was only when he went to her mom's place to talk about their marriage that he finally started calling her mom, as they would be his in-laws anyway. As for jin qiang, we never got to see what he called him after they got married

don't worry the things that will bug you in this drama, gets solved one by one sooner than you expect. It's pace might not be super fast. It has rather a medium pace. Not all eps are packed with important events but it includes the everyday little moments between ML and FL. so if you like to make things happen quickly, this drama might be a struggle. But it has a lot of little plots and points that keep you engaged. It's not as toxic as you think, it's soothing at a lot of parts. Everything here falls in line as eps progresses. In one sentence: it tells you the entire story between the leads from start till end, without skipping any part. It's like you're hearing about some couple's story

The novel has the proposing scene so beautifully written that I think they would've at least managed to do half as good as that. But I think it was all ruined by the licensing process
