I lowkey kind of agree. I feel like we can have one or two scenes tops of homophobia. But constantly hitting us in the head with it seems like it's not for showcasing how society can be cruel but overkill. We love a versatile actor! He also seems like a nice guy in rl. Jung Hae In said he carried someone who got hurt during filming to the hospital. And fans who met him also said he was kind. Um, minus the social awkwardness, the ML seems tailor-made for him.

I'm disappointed, tbh. Like, what about her being kind? Her big heart for others? It just doesn't feel like if PMY didn't play it, why should we like her character? Just being attracted feels slight. In a rom-com, the FL is integral to the story; she needs to be well-written so we care about her. I'm hoping we can see her armor wear down, and we can see more of her.

IA. I think this is what separates it from currently airing rom-coms is that the characters feel like real people with real emotions. You care about them, and you wonder what they'll do next. Side characters are well used, doesn't take away from our main couple and do a good job with adding humor.
