I wonder if the show is going to surprise us and the SML actually turns out to be gay.
That would make sense and better the character, and give it some depth. But I wonder, will they go down that route? Ugh, what's up with showing a positive gay character and have the 2nd ML say that?! Seriously, going one step forward, two steps backwards.
I first watched him in Chicago Typewriter, and was really drawn to his mysterious charming character, which is…
He said 6/45 was the first time in a while where he came back to comedy. Glad he took that step again, and also glad to hear he's the standout in that film. Seems his film career is burgeoning, which is where I hope he can shine further.
I love her, flaws and all. I would date her in a heartbeat and i am not a guy, just bi lmao
Yes! Hello!
I wish his character was placed in a different rom-com, where he was learning to love again after his divorce like Alone in Love (2006). Pair him with an actress like Seo Hyun Jin in a melo romance please!!
He is excellent in Chicago Typewriter as well. Different character ofc, way more outgoing but he gives him equally…
"GKJ generally does the mixture of weird-cute so well," He does! He's not the macho cool dude, but the friendly bear type? I think he's like that in rl too lol. I wish he would get a chance to be ML in a more realistic romance, he has the potential. He would oddly done well in Lee Seung Gi type of roles that he did in the early 2010s: the goofy friendly bro (Like Girlfriend is a Guihimo and King 2 Hearts).
“I’m not a fun person when I go on variety shows. I am awkward and don’t have diverse experiences, so I don’t have much to say. I get nauseous and it’s hard. That’s why I really respect people who do variety shows.”
Despite his worries, Go Kyung Pyo reveals that he really wants to appear on “Running Man.” He said, “I have been on various variety shows like ‘Happy Together,’ ‘Strong Heart,’ ‘Infinite Challenge,’ and more thus far. However, I haven’t been able to go on ‘Running Man.’ I wanted to guest on ‘Running Man’ because you can just work hard and run according to the mission, but I didn’t get a call. I was envious because Jo Jung Suk appeared on ‘Running Man.'”
Oh boy...I have completely been taken out of context. I have seen more series of LSG than LSY. I am not a fan…
I hope you don't delete your comment! I got what you meant. I think this just means we love the characters equally haha.
I think its different to see a FL so proactive and not afraid to speak her mind. Here, the FL is the ML, and the ML is the FL in a typical rom-com.
It's cool to see different p.o.v.s I guess for you, LSY is transfixing in this role and it happens sometimes when a role/actress can take the right project/character that lets her shine.
I hope to see her get bigger opportunities going forward! And I also hope that this couple can stay strong, and finish with giving us a memorable couple in Kdrama!
I'm glad to see love for him here :)!! He has a less trendy look, but he has a warm and handsome demeanor to him.…
Yeah, I mean you can't compete with a ML role that's given a lot of pathos and depth. But he did hold his own, and came across as someone with a high EQ. Waiting for a good romance for him!
How nice to see a long-term couple marry! Congrats. It speaks well of his character that he didn't go for the obvious chaebol type but someone who cherishes and loves him for real!
I feel like her reaction is realistic and in character, although she’s hurt by him, she didn’t blame him for…
" because I empathize with Lee Seung Gi's character"
I forget sometimes how much he sacrificed for Yu-ri. I feel bad for him because of his wacky family ties. Its hard to cut out blood ties. I do think he needs to trust Yu-ri, and hopefully they can both learn from each other and become a unit.
Is it bad that I like the FL less because of how she reacted to Kim Jung Ho. He was a coward but he is in so much…
What everyone said, lol. Also, I much prefer the conflicts to be early in the episode and now instead of later. Plus, he needs to learn that waiting/keeping it in is doing more harm than good. From her pov, she was agitated at him for running away lol and avoiding her since (a few days). Then coupled with this news broke her spirit. But it's realistic, tbh. In her dad's case, it is essential to her.
I think she needs some time to recoup and also learn to give him space too. Also, as someone said, she's fair, and she loves him. Judging by that hot couch scene, I think we'll see our couple's make-up in more ways than one ;).
I hope it reaches 6-7% again soon! Speaking of, KBS has lost its Midas touch. Only Law Cafe for weekday dramas…
I don’t blame them. It’s not them, but KBS has been Miss for a while now. Also Mon/Tue slot doesn’t produce high ratings. The odds were against this show.
It’s odd because they’ve the chemistry, the cases that are societal issues, and an easy to follow story. With two bright stars who have likability. Back then, this would’ve gotten 10-13% in 2015-16.
That said, it has the highest ratings for KBS (7.1%) this year, and it’s #1 for Mon/Tue dramas for 7 weeks. A bit confusing that even with the right recipe, ratings aren’t as high as they could be. Finish strong!!

SBS has their own in house studio which explains their control. But sometimes they can overlook certain things, until it backfires. Also SBS is privately owned vs KBS which is government backed. Money plays a hand, unless Netflix pays premium for it.
That’s a great output for LC! That means for the drama audience, this show is the only one that’s pulling in these numbers.

Reply 88: One of the ML's there, has his own love story. Really good kiss scenes lol. Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk8u9_FsE-g&t=1s
Jealously Incarnate: 2nd ML but well written. Swoony lead.
Chicago Typewriter: 2nd ML but lovable and has a good storyline of his own
He does it all, small, cameo, supporting, and leads. Also began in comedy at SNL Korea, so check that out to see his comedy chops.
