I think his look played a factor in that. But it seems he might be playing darker with Connect, good for him! He's getting there esp. with his films. I feel like Korea doesn't appreciate him enough, but I think he's a really handsome and charming actor who deserves his due.

Okkkkk....its getting seriously interesting. GKP is VERY attractive man, wonder didn't see him earlier in other…
He's not in trendy dramas. Or when he acts in a drama, the other actors steal his shine. Generally, he's almost more low-key, too so if you don't know him, you could miss him. I'm glad to see people are finally waking up to his natural handsomeness. It's what I say timeless, a type of face that will age well.

Yeah, I like it. There's a scene where he's talking to Yu-ri https://twitter.com/WSD1301/status/1575683466783596544,…
I'm so jelly of who gets to be on the receiving end of those eyes!!

Also check out the lip bite he did in Ep 3 when he saw Yu-ri dancing in the rain! Or him patting her head, or putting her hair behind her ear. I notice LSY also does this too, must be a Yu-ri/Jung-ho thing. Its little touches like that, that gets us crazy.

Oh, no worries. It's a riot of a scene! It's a funny film, but more explicit, just saying. He has a supporting role, but he was funny. I snorted when they were gargling water, wtf haha?!

That said, he's in dire need of a solid romance show as an ML. Waiting for the day he gets that chance!!

This is my first drama with Lee Seung Gi. His acting is stellar. You can tell he is giving this story justice…
Yeah, I like it. There's a scene where he's talking to Yu-ri https://twitter.com/WSD1301/status/1575683466783596544, and he teared up, and we see a faint tear. Or the subtle grins or lonesome eyes for her when she's not looking. He's good at adding flourishes to the role.

“When it comes to romantic comedies, I think the chemistry between actors and what they add to it are more important factors than doing exactly what’s written in the script. In that sense, I think Se Young and I are on the same page. The script is great, but our results often became more natural.” I def. see what a veteran actor with charm vs. a good actor who does things by the book does to a script.

Baby faced cutie! I feel he has the potential, but its never goes 100% all the way. He showed potential in some of the projects where he had romances, but this time something more suitable and mature would be nice.

Yes please. But I wonder, since Yu-ri gets love struck even when he wears tracksuits. Other than a suit, what more can be done lol? Wedding suit perhaps?

I'm shocked, finally something he's not good at ahaha. Any others that he's bad at ? He's a machine, don't know he maintains it.

Rom-com can be harder to do, b/c it has to be reliant on chemistry between actors more than script. Luckily, that's not the case here. As for this, I don't blame him, he prob. knows he won't get rom-com offers anymore. He said his fans wanted him to do one, and he liked the role. He might take a brief break and go back to action/thrillers, he was attached to an action drama before Law Cafe.

Also, he doesn't do as many dramas as one might think. I think he's been lucky and also at the stage where he's going to get different choices now as he approaches his late 30s. Speaking of dude's 36?! What?

Lee Seung Gi deserves alot better (and smarter) writing than this, with mouse being his last drama. A bit disappointed.
To be honest, Mouse withstanding. He's also had some dramas that relied more on his star power/charisma. So I guess we can say he's even lol? Also, this is a rom-com with heart so its not going to be the most complex/sophisticated plot. But what it does have are great characters, great chemistry and romance, and mature handling of social issues and character developments. Also, the directing is solid (The PD has done good works before), its just the transitions are awkward which probably has to do with it coming from KBS to Viki/Viu and cutting the commercial breaks.

His performance and character are kinda a bit wasted here. But I hope this can give PD's a chance to give him another romance drama that's better written.

"Ps: lol this drama came at a perfect timing with whats going on with PMY personal life."

Oh boy...all I can say is the rich marry the rich. Ahem, anyways very different watching this now with all this news coming out.

Haven't seen Go Kyung Pyo in a good drama since Chicago Typewriter, he deserves better. But to play against PMY…
He does lol! He's talented, handsome, and charming. But I'm a bit bummed at his romance offers. They don't hit it completely. As I said to someone else here, take his role a divorcee socially awkward guy trying to find love again, and also be more social. Pair him with an actress like Seo Hyun Jin, and boom I guarantee he'll gain more love/attention. Sighs.

A self-aware and sincere comment! Yeah, GKP is a leading man before, and usually, the ML gets the girl. Here, the 2nd ML is a plot point for the two leads to realizing their feelings finally. The best scenario is that the 2nd ML grows as a character and gets a memorable arc.

Oh, the SFL. She's gorgeous, lol. I think she's due for a FL soon. This show is trying to throw a curveball at us, but when you look at the past dramas and tropes, it's apparent who the FL will end up with.

I lol'd on that. Esp. when LSY also got into it, and said the same thing. And then LSG was like "You must had a prior experience like this?" LOL. Wish we got more interviews with this duo. I loved when she said that he matched the webtoon b/c he's perfect in rl and he said "Minus the looks" and she said "Looks too." KBS needs to step it up, but I fear the only time we'll see this duo is hopefully when they get that Best Couple award.

I checked, and for a guy of his stature. He's only been in 10 dramas all together?! He became ML at 22, and been working since as ML's in dramas.

Aww, I keep seeing comments about him seldom doing another rom-com. He's so good at them, much better than other actors who are more hyped than him. But he used to be the rom-com prince in the mid-2010s. If Netflix was a thing around his peak, it would've been massive.
