I mean drama ratings minus a few have been doing poorly or not as expected. For KBS standards, outside of their weekenders and daily dramas their shows ratings have done 1-3%. Only Law Cafe did the highest ratings for them this year weekday drama wise.

Edit: Its both on Coupang and Wavvw, not Netflix. It’s number 1 on both those platforms. Korean viewers still see this after it airs, but the same streaming viewership numbers it might have gotten in Netflix might be a bit less.

Jo Han Chul is great as a character actor, in small increments or a supporting role. But villain?? He’s talented and funny, & I’ve seen him more heartfelt like in Mother. But I can’t find him scary at all. Although this is a romcom mainly, and tone isn’t super serious so it does kinda suit the tone of this show. If he played it super serious, it would’ve even jarring imo.

If not him, which actor do you think would’ve killed it in this role?

I’m thinking Uhm Ki Joon would’ve killed it. He’s so witty and chilly when he’s a bad guy. Or the 2nd ML in Good Job, the one who plays the lawyer would’ve been a hoot as he’s very funny there also wacky crazy like Fiery Priest.

Or Kim Min Jung female wise, she was sinfully delightful in The Devil’s Judge.

Badass, flirty, funny, kind, stylish, sexy, and conscientious! She reminds me of Summer Roberts from The O.C, another sassy and lovable character that was everyone’s girl crush.

Omg I was about to say!! Lee Se Young has a feminine figure, and you wouldn’t know that by her past works. Finally, she can showcase her fab figure and also look sexy and fierce. Kdramas back then use to dress more sexy, & but now most of them wear potato shapes as clothing now which makes me sad lol.

It also helps that the role in the web toon says Yuri has a great body that she likes to show off. I think the openness of the role, alongside her fashion makes it more fun and accurate to do so.

Whose editing this because I have seen a lot of comments saying the same thing with the editing. It’s such an important component of anything, and I do hope the staff working on it get enough time and rest to do so. I wonder if lack of time or rushing to get it done it’s airing while it’s about to come out, is another factor. I hope going forward it can be just as consistent, because it does make or break a show.

It's inspiring and attractive to see a figure like that for female actresses in SK. I'm in awe of her guns and I know she used to do hundred of squats. She should try action next time, she would kill it! This is what happens when you cast solid actors who can emote on-screen!

Lol at the Subway/pink moisture sticks PPL, altho given that Han Ji Won's character works at a huge mall as a CEO or something high position. As long as they keep things for the most part subdued and not tacky. I hope they keep the show classy and serious in its approach.

I don’t know about y'all, but Lee Seung Gi’s and Lee Se Young’s chemistry in the show sparks! It’s how they gaze lovingly, and you feel their bond. They're both good-eye actors, and I believe they are their characters!

Oh oops! I see it now haha! Same here. KBS needs this to hit, especially with its high prestige cast and budget! Me and others are super excited for this to air soon!

Hwang Woo Seul isn’t a cameo. She plays the wife of Ji Seung Hyun’s wife, they are the comedic actors in this heavy drama.

This is by far my most anticipated drama of 2022. It reminds me of the old historical dramas we used to get in the 90’s and 00’s. They got an all star cast for this show, and that usually doesn’t amount to great work but I hope the script is robust.

IA. She's a great actress! She matches the tempo with her actors. She's good at matching the wavelength of her co-stars well. Her wardrobe is a bit mafia like lol with the flashy colors and fits, but I think it fits her vibe well in this show.

I think the car crash he had in 2006/not choosing good projects and doing projects in China and Thailand took away his status. He's likable, talented, and handsome. But I think he chose some projects that didn't hit, & going through health issues & military enlistment also played a factor in the decline of his roles. I remember Haechi was supposed to do well, but it got mired by actors getting hurt & competition breaking out. It's nice that he's still working as mains, though, since 2006 and looks the same too?!

Um didn't expect Lawyer Yang Jin Mo's abs, lol. Also, that scene with him and Sa Na Hee was very cute and surprisedly steamy. Her coolness in front of him, but afterward freaking out was funny.
