The PD of TRS was hesitant to send her the script because she just wrapped Kairos, and heard how tired she was. LSY said she was considering a break as well, then this show came her way. At first, the show had 2 different leads and prepping for Fall 2020 date but things changed. I think she's offered scripts, but her offers are hopefully more now! Her male co-star LJH has 10 movie/film offers, and he rejected a few of them during shooting TRS.

The success of the show was beyond MBC's standards, and the love that both got was also something else. I'm sure even she herself was shocked by the fervor, as this was her first time where she got this amount of attention from the general public/pairing with a co-star that generated a lot of interested. She's not an A Lister yet, she's on the cusp of it (talent: A List/career: B List). She's a veteran yes, but she doesn't have the IT factor (CFs/fashion deals/interest in her personal life), and tbh she doesn't even seem to want that. She even said after this success, that she still wants to do her job as a salary man. What a great attitude she has!

I notice for co-stars that re-unite again, its usually 5-7 yrs :/ She'll do well in something character driven with romance on the side, or like Fight My Way? Most if not many are ML centric, and the FL has less chance to shine. Ngl, even in TRS she's been overshadowed a bit but thankfully netizens recognized her talents. I hope she gets more quality works, and can build a diverse career like her role model Son Ye Jin!!

Same here! No one expected (esp. the director/cast) this show was going to do this well! The blessings are she has more visibility which hopefully will lead her to getting more offers now. But I wonder how her agency will now handle her growing fame and career now? Her agency also has Oh Jung Se (different actor) but he's been getting into bigger blockbuster shows. LSY has a mature vibe that I think casting directors don't ask her for those teeny bopper romance shows. I think she's past that age now since she's 31 in Korean age. However, I'm trying to think Park Min Young has done romance genres because its her niche and that's fine for her. I wonder if they'll make her star in a variety show now? Eh.

For LSY, I could see her doing a rom-com to get away from the tragic stories. She's mentioned that she wants to do a rom-com after Red Sleeve. In the long run, her diverse choices will stand out, and not like the IT gals who disappear long after. Given how much smaller Korea's industry is, the pressure to conform is massive. I want her to keep doing what she's doing, and get a role where she's the sole FL and gets hit ratings/awards. Kim Hyun Joo was also in a similar boat, and then she switched gears when she felt her career was getting stale to action.

She'll probably have to do 1 or 2 of those silly shows to gain more fans (worldwide), and some power/$$ so she can be on the lists for top actresses. Dunno, but Lee Bo Young also was doing dramas getting good reviews, until she hit it big in 2012/2013 and she was 32/33 so I think LSY is just getting started. It speaks that majority of her ML's have been critically acclaimed actors.

Korean celebs should feel free to date whomever they want without anyone caring, and post lovey dovey pics online. Tbh, I think a small majority make a lot of noise and the general public dgaf. Bollywood celebs are messy af lol, all the open affairs/dating. What is interesting is in Hollywood, fake dating is very popular. Imagine that in Korea, like lets increase ratings by having our actors pretend date. Is there a reason why Indian celebs can freely do those things without much backlash? I always wondered how celebs can get away with those things lol Imagine that in Korea, celebs would be outright banned.

Am I the only one a bit frustrated by this? I wish they would allude to or give us a hint. It's not helping that MBC is also playing up their chemistry. Because right now, I feel conflicted of whether or not to view their interactions in that light without knowing. She would give comments prior to meeting him about wanting to meet him. They seem compatible due to their shared interests and career. I guess people are waiting for some crumbs outside the show. We've to see how they work with their future co-stars, but if it gets revealed it'll be a long wait. If it does get revealed later, the delusional fan in me wouldn't be surprised LOL.

I'm rooting for her! But it does suck that in Korea, someone as talented as her is going to have to do some meh choices/do some varieties in order to get cast. Like, I really hope she doesn't have to do forfeit her taste/low key nature to be more popular.

She looks like the younger sister of the Vincenzo female villain Kim Yeo Jin. I see it a lot in Ep 17 when she's older in The Red Sleeve Cuff. I like that Lee Se Young has a more mature/sophisticated vibe to her, it stands out from her peers. Here's to more age appropriate roles/shows for her!

Sometimes I wish K-celebs could be like Hollywood celebs, and post pics and get messy lol. I bet a lot of them have secretly broken up, but paid off Dispatch to shut them up. Plus, paparazzi pics are very strict there so celebs could get secretly papped and then it'll be used for blackmail. Then bam marriage/dating news suddenly pop up and its surprising.

Junho could date, he even said he wanted to date again for real in 2018. 2PM fans are older and ok with them dating. Two of the members are dating, and one of them are getting married.

As for the playfully hitting part, I notice he does that to his co-stars. He did that to Won Jin Ah in the commentary for Just Between Lovers, and also the girl he acted with in Memory. He caressed the hair of the Red Sleeve PD when it wrapped.

The Red Sleeve Cuff is the only show where he's had this much promotion for, with the amount of bts clips mostly him and LSY. The young actress who played the princess said how sweet he was to her.

I echo that. She plays multiple sports, and is quite active in rl. She also does boxing as well. I always felt she had edgy demeanor that doesn't get brought much. However, if she got My Name/Charlie's Angels type of story/action she would impress a lot of audiences. Personally speaking, if she pulled a Keira Knightley (who did a lot of period dramas like LSY with saeguks) and then did action she would leave a greater impression. Ugh, Netflix give her a badass/kickass drama!!

I hope so too! While she's been the FL in some dramas, those dramas tend to revolve heavily around the ML. I would love to see her leading one soon! Also, they better ask her this question on Radio Star! Dying to see the cast's reaction/her's lol. LSY seems open minded as well, which I admire.
