ah, the 20 episodes will be about him trying to get the gold under the building? this will be very boring to see,…
This is more character based like The Fiery Priest was. Same scenario, basically that was his motive at first. But then he gets attached to the building tenants there, and that's what's going to fun seeing them team up against the bad guys in the end. Plus, in the latter half/end, he'll have to take down the bad guys mafia style so look forward to that. Its really about his journey to become more human through the tenants/FL/the lawyer father like figure. Seeing how Koreans loved Fiery Priest, could see this show hitting close to 15-20% by the end.
Its shocking especially since this is a 22 million dollar show. It's JTBC's 10 Year anniversary drama, and this…
They finished this show on Dec. 14. They had 2 months before the first episode aired to get it right. Imo, this should've had 6 months to perfect the CGI/effects. Or at least watched the whole show since it was all shot, and see what didn't work and edit that out. Like that silly sliding scene should've been cut out since it was so fake looking lol. I seriously am a bit worried that the bad CGI could detract from the show in important key moments going forward. Can we please have the focus be on the story?

On Wiki, its listed as 18-22 million dollars so its probably somewhere on that range. So about 1.125-1.140 million per episode, so that's decent to create some cool action/set pieces instead of CGI-ing everything imo. Practical effects just ages better.

American shows can't compare (well cable shows like HBO). Westworld's budget is HUGE, like you can tell when watching. Sighs. I feel like if you don't have that budget, at least don't include silly scenes like that which detract from an otherwise decent show.
all who criticized the drama and the heroin like me, watch todays ep..pure master class..wonderful performance…
I mean the ML straight up murdered people. Yet the FL who just happens to be flamboyant gets more hate lmao. Seriously, folks?! This reminds me of Barry on HBO, which faced the same criticism towards the FL.
Another thing. You should check the drama making, I was surprised to find that most of the drama scenes are film…
Its shocking especially since this is a 22 million dollar show. It's JTBC's 10 Year anniversary drama, and this finished on Dec. 14. So surely, they could've reviewed the whole show properly (CGI) and such. When shows like Uncanny Uncounter gets their CGI right (And that wasn't pre-produced) vs. this, something is wrong.
IA. This show is campy fun goodness!! It doesn't take itself too seriously. I think people wanted something more…
I mean, its basically MacGyver and Terminator w/ 12 Monkeys mash-up. The BTS clips seem like the cast is having a lot of fun! Plus the plane sequence, meant that this show was in on the joke imo. Of course, there's still 12 more episodes to go, so hope it has a really nice climax/secrets left! I do wish this was 20 episodes like it was intended for.
It's a K-drama, so I wouldn't be surprised if this would turn more serious/dramatic esp. w/ him and his brothers storyline still looming. I do know what you mean, but imo, the storyline is serious but the execution/flashy CGI scenes sorta cheapen the show at times? Plus the Control Bureau are so incompetent, its comical lol.
But yeah, I still enjoy this show but did hope for something in the Nine/Signal vein esp. since Cho Seung Woo was starring in it and he came off of Stranger S2 which was tightly plotted/written. He did say the first 6 episodes are what made him sign on, and that he likes shows that don't look fancy on the outside but has more up its sleeve. So I really hope, that's the case here as they're keeping the viewers in the dark.

IA. This show is campy fun goodness!! It doesn't take itself too seriously. I think people wanted something more serious perhaps? That being said, I do worry that a show that was originally 20 episodes became 16. So I do hope, it doesn't like create so many plotholes/?'s that can't get answered soon.
The CGI from Ep 3 (The paragliding scene) though was shot on a real set. I'm guessing, the camera moved way too fast, that it came across as choppy/fake? A ha, so the jump scene was green screen lmao. https://twitter.com/johoologh/status/1365482302009012224
Perhaps the introduction of Stigma (PD said by Ep 6) will give us more clues/insight.
This series is like the makjang of the sci-fi genre loool. It's such an entertaining mess. The plot is interesting,…
"Right now, I feel like the best part of the show is Cho Seung Woo because he's super talented and fun to watch" 100%. He knows the show he's in, and plays his role to perfection. Such an amazing and fun actor to watch. Before people say he's old/etc, um have y'all seen Tazza? Watch that, and you'll shut your mouth lol.
I love it haha. MacGyver is iconic and so is Terminator. There are worse shows to pull from. I do hope they delve deeper into he mythology and Stigma (Who I believe are truly the bad guys).
This is Netflix produced shows. Snowdrop is a JTBC/Studio Dragon production (Or something), so Netflix might get the rights to the show. They usually do w/ JTBC Wed/Thurs ones.
it's not romance genre and certainly more of a thriller drama! i read the manhwa it's very scary
I think KNG will nail it. He does well with action and darker characters. Plus, he's hot too haha. I think him and Seo Ye Ji will be fire together!! The fact that a film director is doing this means he's aware of CGI+Action techniques.
