may be seung woo liked the script but doesnt know direction was going to be like this
He said he read the first 6 episodes, and got enamored with the brother storyline, and how the story was about us as a collective society. I also think, he wanted to not play a serious role and something lighter.
I think the viewers are in a confusion:I personally felt the plot super entertaining and engaging and fresh. The…
The Male Lead is an award winning actor who is considered a trustworthy and respected veteran in Korea. He's won the Daesang, Best Actor at the Baeksangs, and many more. He always brings in it 100% no matter what. I think adjusting one's expectations is the key perhaps?
I wonder if the system in Korean dramas makes it hard for them to improve on CGI aspects. This wrapped on Dec 14, and its 2 months since. I feel like for post production, you need at least 6 months for CGI heavy one. The other aspects (the end of Ep 3's rendering was well done), so dunno.
My thoughts exactly! I'm ashamed to admit, but the amount of bad comments (and the arguments they gave) put me…
I think most/many were expecting something more serious/dramatic. And what we got was a cheesier/funnier vibe. I think CSW is nailing it, as per usual. He doesn't over act his scenes, and meshes well with everyone. I think its a fun pop corn type of show. Like DOTS was, in the sense of fun+action but not like the best show ever.
Same here! I mean, the ML kills people left and right (Anti-Hero). Yet, the FL whose crazy/ballsy gets more hate lol ok. She's fabulous! I love expressive actresses who aren't afraid to look messy/silly instead of pretty. She's a riot!!
What is happening here lol? I don't particularly love or hate park shin hye, but tbh her acting is just average…
Tbh, yeah. She has the star power (age group) for sure. But sorta boring in her choices (roles) for me. I feel like she hasn't changed looks wise lol, which also doesn't help with thinking she's playing a similar acting sphere. Again, no hate but meh. Compared to CSW, but hey different tastes. I just hope her role here surprises us, and she comes out of this re-charged as a dynamic actress...
Thanks! Also appreciate the nice response too! Sometimes, you never know lol :) !Appreciate it! From your memory, were there good amount of romance scenes between the two leads? Or just subtle? It's been AGEs since I last saw CSW in a full on romance film.
Despite the ending, I have to say Shin Hye Sun deserves every award for her performance. She was absolutely phenomenal!
I smell a Baeksang Award for Best Actress or a Daesang at the Baeksangs for her performance. Considering cut off due is in April (or mid April), so it's possible. Don't see much competition for the Female route other than Seo Ye Ji (IOTNBO), but the ratings for Mr. Queen were crazy.
I hope this is a cheeky and charming role for him!! Hope this means more I-fans will get to know him!! Studio…
Yeah, KNG did a cameo in Sam Soon which was his deal with MBC as he won their talent search contest in 2003. So he did several pop up cameos/appearances for them in 2003-2005. They crossed paths again during the 2019 Baeksangs, and both did a bro hug. It was cute lol.
SYJ sorta was a Hallyu star in Japan due to A Moment to Remember, & The Classic was popular in China too. Something in the Rain also helped, but it wasn't until CLOY cemented her Hallyu superstar status whereas before, she was just hovering over it.

Yeah back in 2008 on a film (Public Enemies 3) together, they shared several scenes together. Even KNG said that jokingly in a 2009 interview, that he should've gotten closer to LMH had he known he would become a Hallyu star (BOE) lol. I also haven't seen Fiery Priest yet, but I heard sorta ok to great reviews for that. It seems the only quibble is the toilet/poop jokes at times. He's passed paths w/ many Hallyu actors right? KNG is a semi Hallyu star (Or was on his way), before the military hit :/
Cho Seung Woo flirting in Ep 1 gave me life, and added 10 yrs to my life span!! I never seen him this cheeky and flirty before, and I love it. He is such a charming and amazing actor to watch!
