Seriously though, he's an actor's actor I know. But damn, when he wants to relish in his good looks/tall height, he can bring it!! It's okay KNG, you can be attractive, and it won't distract us from your work mostly lol!!
That kiss scene! I saw tongue lol. Their chemistry got like "I feel like I'm peering into a rl couple" type of…
This show's licensing deal in the West killed the momentum it could've reached :( Alas, but at least Netflix now has this show :) P.S: Give KNG more romance shows PLS!!
Honestly I haven't seen him in any fantasy drama. And this makes me worry now that both actors if MGY casted don't…
All good choices. Tbh, I seen FL's change so we won't know until later. So another FL could be brought up. I remember for Criminal Minds, LJG/Kim Ah Joong were offered ML/FL. Only Lee Joon Gi accepted the offer, while she declined. Thus, opening up for Moon Chae Won to be the FL. Could happen here. If not, Seo Kang Joon would be my pick. He's 3 yrs older than MGY, and a really talented guy. He's been improving/doing diff. work in the last 2 yrs.

Agree on all points. Ngl, MGY's name being the FL kinda made me feel a bit dejected lol. Like on one hand, I'm a bit jealous haha that she's 24 and gets to be friends with KSH in rl. But is possibly might make out with him too!? Sigh lucky girl!!! All seriousness, she'll prob. will accept the role since it calls for more mature acting which she says she wants to do more of. Only thing is the ML, whose it going to be?
Honestly LJW and KSH have a 12 yr difference. Seeing how MGY is now in talks for the FL means that they are skewing…
Workaholic KSH, for sure. But I'm like 50/50 about it, I mean dude is trying to do it all. Which is nuts. He should slow it down a bit, some fans are worried he's overworking himself. Plus 2d1n to that, and other stuff, seems like a lot. He's only one man, dude is trying to do a lot before he turns 40 lol?
As for Link/Mr. Hong, I think he'll have to choose one drama realistically speaking. If they offered MGY the FL for Link, that means they're gearing up to film. So who knows? Honestly, I rather him be healthy (physically and mentally first) before trying to tackle more dramas. Esp. since he now has more weight/burden on his shoulders now as a leading man.

MCW shockingly is 1 yr younger than KSH :O Jo Bo Ah is 29 turning 30 soon, and she surprised me with 9 Nailed. She was good at the evil woman person she had on! They could go for her since she's also a rising star like KSH, so tvN could grab her since she'll likely be free. MCW is my top choice here, such a shame that the PD team didn't reach out to her :( I hope she can do this in a dream world.

Even Mr. Hong is up in the air! Like his play ends end of March, and he said he won't do both dramas/plays same time again. Ah, so this is going to be a wait until then...
I'm not sure on SALT's tactic either. Are they waiting for him to finish Ice? I think he'll have to do one drama, he can do both but eventually schedule conflicts could arise since Mr. Hong needs to finalize cast/script soon so he can film that first before Link. But end of March, let's say dramas are 4-5 months filming. So Mr. Hong could film from April-July or August.
Link is rumored for end of August, but dramas film like a 1 month or 2 before now, so it'll conflict with Mr. Hong in the end. Since Link is for 2021, even if it was Fall 2021, he'll have to finish Mr. Hong by August. Then do Link a month later (Sep-Dec). It's possible, but he'll be so jam packed/stressed out, so acting/mental/health wise, it's prob. not the best.

You and me sis, you and me both want that!! Again, not against it. But a Melo calls for some intense emotion/passion, and seeing early 20s and mid 30s have that on-screen, I mean I wonder if they'll go there? Lol. Seriously, Moon Chae Won or Park Min Young anyone? Even Jo Bo Ah would be good too. Very curious what'll happen with Link.

Park Min Young!! Yass. She's the same age as KSH!! She would be a great pick. "If only they didnt forget actors (and actress) exist after they turn 30 :/" This 100%.

I wonder if in Waikiki 2, they didn't go further with the romance b/c of their age gap? 20s-30s range can be a bit awkward on-screen. Of course, their natural relationship can help. But I sorta wish an actress in his age range was chosen as the FL. I feel like if they chosen a 24 yr old actress, then someone whose in his late 20s could be good? I just can't imagine them making out/passionate scenes (KSH+MGY). It'll just seem like sibling like for me. Again, interesting/random that the PD of Link offered her the FL. Hmm...and to think why Link's cast news was so quiet lol. If it's happening soon, then I guess we can expect some more news/release date around Feb?

I'm not against it, but given that Seon Ho will turn 36 in a few months by Korean standards since he is Korean. That I much rather prefer him to be cast with someone around his age or older. I guess, it's hard finding the right FL (Age/Looks Wise) for him, b/c he has a baby face. Shin Hye Sun is excellent!! Mr. Queen is wrapping up by mid Feb. So in terms of another drama, and if Link is scheduled for end of August, it could happen?
The musical chairs on the casting for this show is overdrawn on SNS, too many rumors with Kim Ji Won/Lee Jae Wook rumblings. The only official news is that Link's PD gave an offer to KSH (But that doesn't mean he's the only choice/actor for this role), just means that he's another person they're considering. As for MGY, her agency confirmed that she's looking over it rn. I think she'll choose the role, as it'll give her back to mature territory which is something that she wanted. Her and KSH visually look good, but acting wise, I don't know if a Melo/thriller/romance genre will suit them.

Interesting. If I'm being honest, MGY is talented, but I feel like it'll be a bit awkward for me watching them do a passionate Melo on-screen. Given that they're good friends in rl, and their age gap. As for Seon Ho, seems like Mr. Hong/Link's scheduling could conflict in the end? So he'll probably have to choose one, and I could see him not doing Link. I wish Moon Chae Won was cast as the FL in Link. Her and SH would've been an age appropriate pair, and she's pulled off Melo/thriller/romance very well.
That kiss scene! I saw tongue lol. Their chemistry got like "I feel like I'm peering into a rl couple" type of level midway through the show. Wish there were more kiss scenes, but the skin-ship was really nice :)
Cute, entertaining and funny. Best feature is the ML. I would have liked the story even more if he hadn’t returned…
I'm glad he returned in the end!! It made sense b/c he did everything he had to do, and war was over, and his name was revered. So when he could come back for good, it worked out.
The medical scenes were gnarly. But I liked FL/ML's relationship and how she helped him when he was in modern times, and he in Joseon.
But yes, the best feature is the FL. KNG's ability to go back/forth in a sec. between absurd comedy to heart-wrenching dramas is nothing short of amazing!! He should've won awards for this role!!
This is one of my favourite writers. I hope Lee Jae Wook gets the role. Nothing against Kim Seon Ho (he's great),…
Same. I think they've more sibling energy in rl and on-screen. Plus, he's 35 so at this point, I rather him work with actresses his age. I think LJW+MGY are a better match, since he'll be busy with Mr. Hong instead.
Edit: Lmao someone on Soompi copy/pasted my exact comment under the article!!
Tsk...tsk...I mean Moon Chae Won anyone?? She's one yr younger than KSH too.
I guess we'll have to wait and see which project he chooses, Link or Mr. Hong.
