Let's hope he doesn't get type cast. While he is cute, he has a more masculine edge/side that comes out when he's allowed to be so. That's true! He's not a flower boy. Oh for sure. He's really a chemistry magnet. More than any of the other actor's that I've followed, he's the most easy going, prone to skin-ship, affectionate actor I've ever seen. He usually initiates it too. For YDMC, he was linking arms with LYY, and putting his arm around her neck. It was suspicious lol. But then he would play around with, and touch MGY's head on CTG in BTS clips. So I wonder too. I think he's the type to fall for his co-stars as their character during filming, and comes back to reality once it airs.
I think KSH was pulling the weight when it came to chemistry in Start Up. Dal-mi or Suzy played it cool at times, even pulling back or regarding their scenes together. If this show is 1st half to air, I'm stating to get a bit worried now. B/c other shows have confirmed all cast members, for shows coming out in Feb/March, yet Mr. Hong and Link are crickets. SMA is still in talks, I think Here is the only dilemma. She's confirmed for that since Fall 2019. Due to Covid, it's been delayed. It might get delayed again, as LBY (ML) is shooting a film this Spring. So Mr. Hong has to get fast tracked first, so SMA can be in it. KSH's play is done in March 21, so I hope they can fast track the show so he can do this and possibly Link.
As for mid tier A List FL's, Moon Chae Won is a good pick. She's sorta based at tvN now, she did great in FoE. And is good at melodrama, romance, and thriller genre. She would be great for Link, not sure for Mr. Hong though. She's also free as FoE wrapped on end of August 2020, but she doesn't work often, only doing a role every 2 yrs.
If we go down to rising stars or less famous picks, Park Eun Bin, Jo Bo Ah, Han Ye Ri (She's great btw), Jung Eun Chae, and Lee Se Young. I will say Park Eun Bin is filming The Witch: Part 2 so prob. not available until Spring. Jung Eun Chae is filming Pachinko, so not available until Spring. So that leaves us with Han Ye Ri, Jo Bo Ah, & Lee Se Young. If we're talking about good actresses in his age range. I like Han Ye Ri to be the FL for Link, if the other choices don't work out. Of course, this being his post S.U project, having a strong but established veteran as a FL does help him, as he doesn't have the star/draw power yet as a TV star.
