tbh if the drama really was rage inducing i'd quit it ages ago but i'm having fun just commenting maybe i'm in my idgaf era but i don't find it that bad?? mild annoyance at best but let's see where the latter half of episodes goes ðĪŠ
the thought of XY and XJL still ending up together after he outright told her he's sick of her omg..... like not to be dramatic but i would rather throw myself off a cliff
the sad thing is jia lin really doesn't need to try so hard, you can tell xu yan is slowly starting to see her in another light - not the little girl he knew growing up but this mature, hardworking young woman with a strong sense of justice. it's good we get to see this side of her and i hope it will continue if they want me to be convinced of their romance. i very much believe in character development so fingers crossed the writing doesn't mess it up.
she's trying so hard to fight her feelings but his rizz game too strong ðĨš she's not wrong for not giving in but it'll be so satisfying once she does
as mentioned before, everyone has their own flaws which is why i'm not quick to cuss them out. yes i don't always agree with their actions but the reality is that not all of us can be like ye han who is clear and direct with his feelings even if the outcome is not favourable. for xiao xiao, she's quite passive and avoids unnecessary conflict. she didn't tell jia cheng or her friend about her feelings because she doesn't want to be the cause of a strained friendship and make it awkward so yes, she's the type of person who would suffer in silence instead. is it healthy? no but i find it very realistic and relatable. as a viewer, of course it's easy to just tell her to move on but human emotions is more complex than that. we can't always shut it off. some times it just continues to eat us up, the doubts, the guilt regardless of whether or not it ends up sabotaging ourselves. she made it clear that she needs time but the issue is no one seems to be respecting that. i would also be irritated.
while i'm usually not a fan of time skips, i think it's necessary. they both need some distance from each other to sort out their feelings because at this point i don't think the endless cycles of misunderstandings will do their relationship any good. let them come back when they're in a better state of mind. after all, isn't that usually how the red thread of fate is represented?
if i hear one more "are you married yet? you'll be over 30 soon" i'm going to scream shut up SHUT UPPPP oh my god we're not going to perish if we're not married/have children
drama gods please pull through and air something interesting it's slim pickings atm
what the fuck are you talking about bro i'm getting whiplash
