i hope people will not be so critical of the fl. i personally find her character consistent with her thoughts and emotions. she's the type of person that likes someone wholeheartedly so i can understand the conflict of having to come to terms with her recently ended crush while falling for another. she probably feels a sense of guilt as if she's "betraying" that person along with confusion. it's not wrong of her to need time and process her feelings because she knows it's not fair for him. she's not a bad friend either as she's actively supporting the development of their relationship. it's easy to feel resentment but she's loyal and selfless to a default.
