What sort of prostitution exist when two people have an affair? Did he paid her each month in order to be with him? The length of their relationship shows that she consented, she was in an affair with him with her own will, because she was well above the minimum age of consent. He didn't force her to be in an affair with him and she wasn't bellow the age of consent that in Korea ( another surreal thing) starts by the age of 13!
In order to understand how surreal this whole story is, just think that if he asked her to marry him, she could do so without asking her parents. It is not that she would have needed the written permission of her parents in order to date him, have sex with him or marry him if their affair was that serious.
On the other hand if she was 6-8 months older would that have had change anything on regard of her consent or their affair?
From what I've read about the case and from any point of view being in an affair with him was her decision too. He told him that she was older and she dated him for several months and when she didn't get the role that she was after she accused him for rape, ( like he raped her for months or something), for exploitation and prostitution ( like he gave her a salary or something ) and for being in an affair with her though she was underage ( although she lied about her age).
Excuse me but these are not the traits of a innocent, exploited victim.
I'm not against women's rights but on the other hand women that behave this way harm more than we can imagine this cause, because they show how exploitative can be themselves.

Edit to Add... Anyway... whatever was their affair he was never convicted for rape let alone for child rape. And the conviction that got for prostitution is debatable, because he didn't paid her to be his girlfriend for several months and he didn't force her to offer sexual services to other men.

Aside the fact that he is a very good actor he was never convicted for rape, let alone child rape. He was convicted for having for a few months an affair with an 18 y.o woman and that because the age of majority in S. Korea is 19. If he had the same affair anywhere else she wouldn't be able to bring the matter of her age into a court.
I've read a lot about this case and it looks like a classic case of revenge. She probably had an affair with him to get a role, dating him for months, and when she didn't get this role she accused him for all about everything.
He claimed that she hadn't told him her real age and I personally believe this claim because I don't think that it would made that much of a difference for him to wait her a few more months to come into age.
Anyway... the point is that he was never convicted for rape, 18 year olds are not children, a nobody can force anyone in any kind of long term relationship like the one that they had.

The creator of the game didn't give them access to the full version of the game and that is the reason why there was antagonism among the potential buyers, that they were antagonists either way and in a more personal manner.

But even if the potential buyers had been given access to Jung Se Joo's server to play the game, it would have been impossible for the tech guy in Seoul to follow Yu Jin Woo and Cha Hyun Suk progress into the game in real time. How could watch what the players were experiencing into somebody else's server with the dedicated equipment that the seller gave them in order to play? These were playing the game into some sort of intranet, not internet. On a local server not accessed on the www ( world wide web).

They didn't wear only contact lenses but they had earbuds too. So they could supposedly watch and listen to whatever the server transmitted to them, but locally. In Granada and not anywhere else.

Now the bug in the game wasn't that bad plot idea because the bug was either way in the original version of the game.

It could have been a very good movie but the end was over the top. Was that damn president a cat or something having 9 lives or what? I've end up wondering why nobody could kill him...lol

I can't help but notice that plenty of S.Korean celebrities after breaking up affairs or marriages with S. Korean partners, switch to relationships with non S.Korean people!
There must be a very toxic culture and attitude around S. Korean celebrities' personal affairs and as soon as they realize this... that's it. They are over an out! lol

Now could someone explain to me why did she care about him and he cared about her? There was no story between them, they ate a couple of times in two three days that they stayed together they dealt with the gang that attacked her uncle ( she dealt with them ) and other than that they were two completely unrelated people.
In fact she didn't have any particular reason to revenge the gang because she didn't like her uncle either way as she consider him responsible for the deaths of her parents and her sister. So they actually did to her a favor to kill him.
He had more reasons to revenge the gang but he had no reason to go back and save her. Why did he go back to save her knowing that he wouldn't be able to deal with all of them?
Aside the fact that the whole plot was completely generic, it didn't make any sense as well.

Yes but this is irrelevant with my original comment about the inconsistency between the actors' and the on screen characters' ages.
I really don't care on which family is based this drama. It is not mentioned anywhere and I'm not obliged to know it and I don't really care.
I don't live in Asia and I don't live in South Korea to care about the history and doings of the Samsung family.

Nothing indicates in this drama that it is based even slightly on the Samsung family. It is not written anywhere and the only ones that might find any similarities are those who live in SK and/or work in this company and are following its doings.
The actual age of the actors doesn't matter as long as it is not visible on camera. Song Joong Ki wears a tone of makeup in order to look younger than his actual age that it is not after all that old, but Lee Sung Min is not and he doesn't look actually like a 70 year old , or older as the drama is progressing, and he doesn't even wear any aging make up in order to look persuasively as an old person. But same applies for Yoon Je Moon who in the first episode should be at least in his mid 60's if he was in the best case scenario in his mid 40s back in 1998. But then he wouldn't be able to have a so grown up son as we can see him in the episodes that are supposedly taking place bakc in 1998.

Anyway... the inconsistency with the ages is that the grandfather looks way to young for his supposed age, his children look way too young too even when they are supposed to be in an older age ( at present time) , while his ( on screen ) grandchildren look way too old in the past and unchanged in the present. This Jin Yoon Ki character looks ageless for example...!
And that is what I'm talking about and not if that is the story of Samsung or whatever else that is irrelevant.

I have heard about girls getting married so young but not for boys.
But in any case this guy in this drama doesn't seem to have been married so young because he comes from a business oriented family and he is educated so he probably graduated from a university. Even the most basic university studies finish at the early 20s at least.
His younger grandson is 22-23 ( speaking of the 5th and 6th episodes ) and he hasn't graduated yet and he doesn't even consider a marriage. And none of his older grandchildren do so.
Anyway.. My point is that in order to have so grown up grandchildren in his early seventies he must have been married very early, have children in very young age something that should make his children way older than they are supposed to be. At least in their mid 40s early 50 or more.

I know that Asians get married young but not thaaat young.
On the other hand all of his children are university graduates. And all of his grandchildren are too, with the younger ones still studying. Something that normally should delay their marriage to their mid twenties which is the average generation gap. 25 years with the different generations overlapping.
But in his case his younger grandchildren are already in their mid twenties something that doesn't make that much sense unless he got married as a teenager and started having children immediately!
He is in his early seventies and his younger grandchildren are already 22-28 years old ( and his first grand children must be even older).

I have seen that happened in the case of my grandmother, but my grandmother was born in 1906 and she had her first child at the age of 15 and she got her first grandchild from her first living child ( because prior she had two children that didn't survive) at the age of 36. But this is extreme and the grand father of this drama doesn't belong to that generation.

Edit to add: Not to mention that if that was the case and he got married as a teenager he should have had older children. All of his children should have been in their mid 40s with the older in their 50s. His children don't look that old though. And he doesn't look either like a 70 year old.

In fact the actor who plays the grandfather is just 53 years old.

Well something is completely wrong with the age of the grandfather.
When Yoon Hyun Woo switched to the body of the 10-12 years old Jin Do Joon his grandfather was already 60 years old ,But Jin Do Joon was the youngest of his grandchildren. At the 5th episode that is taking place in 1996-98 his grandfather must be at least 70-72 years old because Jin Do Joon is in his early twenties. Let's say 22, ...he hasn't graduated yet. The other grandson who was studying in USA ( and I don't remember his name) must be at his late 20s at least ( he looks older). But anyway...
The problem is not how old the grandfather died but how old he was when he became a grandfather for the first time? In his early fourties? And if that is the case how old did he get married in order to have so grown up grandchildren in his 70s?? lol

What sort of end was that!!! The lazy stupid and incomprehensible end spoiled the whole drama. I was about to rate it with 9,5 because I liked the plot and the plot twists but the end was so lame that I'll end up rating it with a mere 7.
So disappointing.

Dropped on episode 15 as it is extremely sluggish with unlikable characters. Mark Ciao plays his role like he is high on something, or in a total Nirvana with a slight smile in his face and somewhat posh manners, no matter what is supposed to be going on and though he works in his uncle's company that is subsidiary of a larger company he looks like he has more money than anyone else. His uncle looks like he doesn't have enough money to pay his dinner while the nephew is dressed with fashionable clothes and lives in a super modern apartment that is not justified by his position in the company and not even the company's finances if we judge it by its offices.
Anyway.. with this that I got extremely bored and I couldn't bare to watch this for another 25 episodes.
The main problem of Chinese dramas is their length and the sluggish, slow development of their plots.
