I've read that the stampede occurred while countless mostly young fans were trying to get close and see a local celebrity. Is that true? Whatever is the case though it is very unfortunate that so many -mostly young- people lost their lives at such a festive event. My deepest condolences to the family of this young actor.
He raped a minor. Excuse us for not thinking he deserves a public platform.
Her age is not an alibi. By the time that she was at the appropriate age to have the right of consent and having affairs with who ever she liked there are no excuses. The decision was all hers. She could have had an affair with him and end up marrying him. They wouldn't be the first couple with a twenty years age gap.
If he did gave her that role at the end of the day, we wouldn't even know anything about this case. She wouldn't bother to report him and that says a lot about her immorality that is probably worst than his as her immorality is based on pure opportunism.
Better leave my parents out of this discussion as they are both dead and I'm also old enough to be your mother.

Personal insults show -if anything else- that you have no arguments and that you have no idea about this case. This case were finalized years ago and the court punished him only for promising her a role in exchange for sexual favors that she had no problem as it seems to make them for three four months straight.
In other words he was punished for his morality and not because he abused her by any way. She accepted his offer knowing exactly what she was doing. This is of course a form of prostitution but in this case the prostitute was not a victim of any kind of force.
She could have denied the offer and tell him to put the role you_know_where. I would have done that if I were in her shoes. I would have told him "thank you for your offer but I don't "give it" in exchange of roles". OR "I don't like you, you are not my type, I'm pregnant by someone else!". There are always ways to deny such an immoral offers if you have of course the moral background to do so and you are not keen to exploit with whatever means possible any "opportunity" ( in quotes) that comes your way.
So it was not that her morality was any better than his. It was worst IMHO because she turned to the courts in order to get "justice" for her equally immoral dealings with him.
I agree with you about her. However, I think that this is how the story presents her – as stupid and cringy…
Yes but the people that she manipulates are more stupid than her! Generally speaking I've dropped this drama because all the villains act stupidly. It is not that Yo Han is fighting the masters minds of crime. But as Einstein said it is impossible to beat stupidity....! lol But on the other hand, why should I have to endure it in a series? ha ha ha

Certainly but she supposedly is the main villain of this drama so if we can't take the villain seriously how are we suppose to consider the actions of her antagonist serious too? The Devil Judge is fighting with an unworthy opponent that is so stupid and pretentious that makes him look stupid and useless too, whenever he is unable to beat her tactics.
Anyway I've dropped this drama on the 9th episode due to the insufferable cringeness of this character... lol She is so predictable that I bet whatever you like and without seeing the last episode that in the end she will probably commit suicide or something like that. She will kill herself they will not kill her. That is how I predict that she will end up. And if my prediction is right then dropping this drama was the right decision too.
Read on another page that it's for those who like to watch something during their commute.
I agree. There are many other things that could have been improved in MDL. I suggested for example that the reviews should be automatically placed in two categories: Positive and Negative ones in order to be able for someone to read easily the top of these Positive and Negative reviews and have with a few clicks a more complete idea about what each drama is all about, instead of scrolling, sometimes hundreds of reviews in order to find what is looking for. When I suggested this on the feeds I was attacked by some other MDL members.
Jung Sun Ah character is so cringe worthy that spoils the whole drama for me. They've tried to present her as disturbed and manipulative bitch but she comes out so stupid that it makes me wonder who is taking her seriously. Whatever trait they tried to apply on this character fails miserably. She is neither scary, or sexy, or clever and she doesn't even look like the dominatrix type of woman. Perhaps they miscast the actress who is a actually a very good actress but her looks don't support this particular role. Anyway... I find this character terribly boring and I can't take her seriously no matter what sort of things she is saying. I can't take this character seriously at all.
In fact, it's a Little Women's Book stuff :) In the book from which the characters of the series are inspired,…
They are not similar at all. I don't think f.e that the older of the March sisters would have been able to beat anyone with a metal rode even if that person had beaten her previously, just to give you an example of how off is that modernization and how unneeded were the mention and the comparisons eventually with this particular book. But anyway... this is not that much of a problem at least for me because it didn't even pass my mind that they were inspired by this book. If they didn't mentioned it I wouldn't even suspect it. I like the series and the concept of the three sisters with their individual characters getting involved with the same villain. I think that the writers could have explored a bit more how each and every sister and different character dealt with the same situation.
It is a sad fact about the world we live in that the international cinema scene is dominated by Hollywood. The…
The international cinema scene is not dominated by Hollywood. It is the media that create this illusion because they don't report anything about these actors at the English speaking world. But the English speaking world is not the whole world and all these Asian actors have a huge following in non English speaking countries. Isn't that enough?
As for the actors that you've mentioned that are internationally famous... these established their careers decades ago and they work for so many years that they had the opportunities to work in international productions with international cast that made them famous everywhere. Comparing Atthaphan Phunsawat who is hardly 30 y.o with Tom Cruise who is almost 60 is not fair for both of these actors because Tom Cruise has a 40+ years career in his bio while Atthaphan Phynsawat not even the half of that time. He is 29, lets say that he works as a adult professional for 10-15 years.
The Harry Potter actors' careers don't count either because these were cast as children not for their acting skills but mostly because of their appearance. Most of them didn't manage to establish a serious acting career except those who were already child actors like Tom Felton. The rest are nowhere to be found with unimportant roles in their filmography. They are famous in a particular generation of people, because the Harry Potter movies were made with children for those who were children back then, but nobody is going to remember them in let's say 40 years from now for their stellar performances and/or their participation to important films.

I have read the book and the nose thing must be the only similarity that these two - the book and the series - have. Nothing else. I don't even know why they mentioned the Little Women book that is about four ( and not three) adolescent women that are forced to mature during the American Civil War and because of that war into the society of that era.
Possible scenario after watching episode 7. They use the orchids to produce hallucinogenic drugs! If that orchid has such properties there's not that much else to do with them.
In sk getting plastic surgery isn't a big deal and a person's physical appearance is a big deal. Its problematic…
A random scene about random plastic surgeries that cause financial concerns....! I know that it is part of their culture to fix their facial features but they end up all looking somewhat similar, because they try to come as close to their beauty standard as possible. The funny thing is that all these surgeries don't make them look any better because their beauty standard concerns them and only them. ( the South Koreans I mean). It is not so international. Real story. In an exchange of librarians that took part some years ago, we hosted in my country a group of South Koreans, mostly women. Well they were ecstatic of visiting Greece and most of the women obsessed with the Greek guys as they combined the visit with some holidays ( mostly the latter!). But this didn't work the other way round. The guys didn't like them because they found them ( as one of them told me privately) very artificial in their behaviors and appearance. They tried their best to make them have a nice time, took them to the clubs and joined them for sea bathing and such things but no romance came out from all that, though some of these ladies were single and interested. It was very unfortunate because all of these ladies were very nice persons. Very polite and shy and very respectful. We had a difficulty to persuade them not to bow to everyone because here it is considered inappropriate to bow. But anyway. Their manners and style didn't work the way they expected. That is how I came up to the conclusion all that fuss for their appearance and behavior overall is only for ... "domestic consumption"!
Excuse me but if their younger sister asked for a nose job ( that she didn't actually needed) instead of a field trip would they borrow money to get her the nose job? What is wrong with these people there in S. Korea? Have they completely lost it?
That he wears some kind of lace mask to hide it, that doesn't cover it either way, instead or wearing a patch... but then he would look like a pirate... lol
