What? Every time I watch a drama from when he was in his 30s I'm struck again by how insanely hot he was. His…
I think that you confuse his on screen charisma and photogenic presence with objective beauty Takuya Kimura is not objectively beautiful as he doesn't have the perfect body of facial features. Now how hot you might find him depends on what are your standards for male "hotness". I - personally- wouldn't say that I find him particularly hot or sexy, but this doesn't make him a bad actor or an actor that I don't like to watch. In fact I like his work and I'm following him for his acting skills and not his looks. And that is what I've commented about in my OP.
Yes I agree. I think that they exhausted whatever ideas they had and now the recycle the once (upon a time) interesting…
Certainly but I want to watch some good dramas not the actor's faces... lol I'm not going after the actors because they are unknown to me either way, not to mention that I can't even remember their names. So I'm going after the plot and some drama and film genres that I like ( thrillers and such things) . If a drama is interesting and has a good production I will watch it either way. The funny thing is that MDL shows in my watching overview that I supposedly like some actors that in most of the cases I don't even know them and I have dropped most of the dramas that they are in. lol
The K-drama world like Hollywood is running out of ideas, started strong now they will dish out anything without…
Yes I agree. I think that they exhausted whatever ideas they had and now the recycle the once (upon a time) interesting concepts in not so successful ways. And as their Hollywood counterparts rely a lot on special effects instead of the plot, the dialogues and the character development. I have run out btw of dramas that I might be interested to watch. I can't find something interesting and of a relatively good quality too as I have recently dropped more dramas than ever before!
And here is the biggest plot hole that could have spoiled completely this drama to those who noticed it: ( below…
How both Yu Jin Woo and Cha Hyun Suk were able to play the game simultaneously on the beginning of this drama by the time that none of them had the full version of the game ( none of them had bought it yet) and both of them they played with the demo versions that were probably running them, each on their own separate, different server?
Normally they wouldn't have been able to access the server that ran the full version of the game and they wouldn't be able to play the one against the other because they would not have been able to access each other's servers.
Same applies to Yu Jin Woo who wouldn't be able to play the game in Granada by the time that he had loaded the demo version of the game on a server in Seoul.
It wasn't that the game was released and it was online and accessible everywhere and that the gamers were connected all on the same server. In the beginning of this drama we see that they compete on who is going to buy the game first after testing it on its demo version.
So Yu Jin Woo wouldn't be able to virtually "kill" Cha Hyun Suk because the game didn't run on the same server for all the active at that time players.
100% rewatchable and same entertaining as the first time that I watched it back when it was first released. Upon the second watch I think that the romance sub plot wasn't necessary as it lacked substance and was slowing down the super interesting main plot. The romance was looking like a filler in this particular drama.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately it is not there. As I said previously it won't be in the OST if it is part of a classic ballet music for copyright reasons. It is the piano music at the end credits.
Is that how masterpieces are supposed to be???? This drama was full of cliches and predictable situations, non interesting characters and as such boring as hell. Dropped on 4th episode.

If this music is from a ballet it won't be part of an OST album. I'm pretty sure though that I've watched a ballet variation video the other day on youtube that played this music. The problem is that I can't remember which video that was.

I didn't say that it is boring because they couldn't remember each other. That was going for the improbable and unrealistic situations. I mean for that the guys were close friends with each other and they were unable to recognize each other because they were wearing masks.
The plot is the average revenge plot with were the two female antagonists exchange hateful comments but their actions don't seem realistic and their characters look shallow. The bad one f.e is bad bad bad on all and everything and the good one is victim victim victim in all about everything up until she decides to become the avenger! She wants to revenge the bad one because the bad one harmed her family but she doesn't do, not up until the bad one becomes so insufferable bad that she has to do it either way!

Honestly now I don't understand the argument that K-dramas are not supposed to be realistic. Particularly when they deal with social issues or personal relationships. Same applies of course to all kind of dramas that deal with situations that happen in everyday life. Legal medical and such things. Unless is it clear from the very beginning that the drama is a fantasy or sci fi one. I 'm not trying to make you change your mind. But I don't consider it as the best of its kind out there. In fact I found it totally boring though I like a lot Park Hoon as an actor.
Can't believe the rating is so low this was literally everything you need in a revenge drama without the drawn…
Give me a break. It was one of the most boring revenge dramas I've ever watched. And the situations were at least improbable most of the times. Best friends are invited all at the same masquerade dating party and they are not able to recognize the one the other because they wear masks and same applies to the FL and her antagonist who had a discussion the same morning but they can't recognize each other at the party!
Do you perhaps remember or know what is the music of the end titles. I have the notion that is the music from a ballet variation that I used to dance at the ballet school years ago but I can't recall from which exactly ballet that music is.
I'm not saying this only about this drama ... it is incredible how unrealistic are sometimes the sets of these dramas. The houses, the offices and such things. The FL is married with a child and her house is looking like a furniture store. Like they are not living in this house, nothing is out of its place, no clutter, no dirt, no plates in the sink the walls are freshly painted, the bed sheets unused. Even the daughter's room is in pristine condition! lol She didn't just keep the house clean ( as she says to her husband). She kept it uninhabited! ha ha haaaaaa
