I'm not judging anyone's national culture. To behave as a celebrity is not an indication neither a peculiarity of someone's national culture. It is a peculiarity of celebrities culture who usually cause to themselves the troubles that they end up moaning for afterwards.
As for the rest that you've said about European culture, there is not such a thing as a unified European culture to start with. And I don't need your briefing of your imaginary unified European culture's traits because I'm very much of a European native lol and I can assure you that it is not the same for each and every country that consists that damn EU.
I'd like to add also that your comment is out off context and completely irrelevant with the subject of my original post that is this one.
I don't really understand why celebrities mix up their personal life with their profession. All the rest that you mentioned about pregnancies, european cultures etc etc are the epitome or irrelevancy.
P.S What were your school grades btw on text comprehension?
your comment is so uncalled for. They are simply sharing a wonderful news with their fans and other well wishers.…

What the director said is true because the book that this drama is based on doesn't talk about any particular stories or characters. It is not a novel. It is an account about how Japanese press was operating and about the doing and its dealings that Japanese press has with the Yakuza and the politicians. The characters don't actually exist in the book as you see them in the drama. They are not so developed as characters because the author of the book didn't know all of them personally. He was though familiar with some of his colleagues whose depiction on screen if quite accurate. As I've said in my own review they have made a very clever use of the source material and that because the book as it is written it would have made a great documentary but not a drama. But this drama caught the mood of the book. That underworld that is involved with all about everything into Japanese society.

Those who want to live an open and happy personal life don't inform and don't invite the public and/or anyone else including the paparazzi in their private life.
These kind of announcements are the invitations to the paparazzi and the hateful online crowd. The public has no opinion and can't comment on anything that doesn't become public.
P.S. As you have probably noticed I didn't comment on your characterizations. Be aware though that if I do so you will not like it.

I'm just pointing out what exactly is the problem with celebrities. That they share things that they shouldn't share simply because these things are unrelated with their profession. That they confuse their profession with their personal lives. And when things go south start moaning about how intrusive is the public to their personal lives and how psychologically hurt they are because of the public comments about their marriages, their children, their personal relationships, their appearances and so on, information that these celebrities are those who first inform the public for, in the first place.

Both have to do with someone's physical condition. You wouldn't ask an unknown and not familiar to you person about his or her physical ( or financial, or family etc )condition. Then why are you interested about your favorite celebrity's one? And why this celebrity feels the obligation to share such details with her fans. The whole idea is so wrong from every point of view. Or better let me change profession. Are you interested to know if your accountant is pregnant? She might have 200 clients. Does she have to announce it at the door of her accounting firm?
You might not care but that doesn’t mean that the fans feel the same way. Just simply ignore the news and move…
The fans feel whatever celebrities want them to feel. But at the very end these same celebrities are those who are moaning about how the public and their fans are supposedly violating their privacy. We have seen that happened a trillion times.
I agree about LJS. He is a case study of botox side effects! lol But I liked the movie and its plot.
I'm not sure about what is your point here. That he is using botox because he is androgynous or that he looks androgynous because he is using botox? Whatever is the case this neurotoxin that he using affects his acting ability. So if he intends to prolong his modelling career and remain a wrinkles model for ever because nothing is moving in his face, then it should be better to stay away from acting.

I don't think that someone can feel more human if s/he announces her medical condition or medical records to the public. Who said that this is supposed to be the normal. If I asked you to tell me when was the last time you visited your gynecologist you would considered me rude and intrusive, but on the other hand you find normal for a female celebrity to announce something so personal as her pregnancy. And as I replied above to sanadynasty I don't see why should the any fans be concerned for something that they wouldn't even know in the first place if the celebrity didn't announce it. A celebrity's marriage can be used as a publicity event, but a pregnancy is something that is completely personal. It is the celebrities themselves who are violating their own privacy and they do it because fans like you find this normal and interesting.
And the funny thing is that all those celebrities that they announce themselves such kind of personal information are those who end up moaning about how intrusive is the public to their personal life.
sounds like it just doesn't concern you. some fans might actually want to know and would be happy to hear this.…

Congratulations to them, but why should we care? I don't really understand why celebrities mix up their personal life with their profession. Their profession is what interests their fans, their new projects etc, not how many children they are going to have. Such announcements are completely unneeded.

Watch him on his films and how he looked like when he was discharged from his military service in order to see the more than obvious difference. If you can't see it then you are way too blinded because you are his fan. The rest about his supposedly androgynous beauty is how you perceive him according to your own standards of beauty. Not how he actually and objectively looks like. He looks like an over botoxed young male. Being a top model as you say is probably the reason why he has started to botox himself that early on. In order to prevent wrinkles to appear in the first place and prolong his model career. This makes sense because he is working in the S. Korean market. But this kind of appearance is by no means the standard for male models. But then again I couldn't care less about what he is doing other than point this out. It is not that he is hiding it after all. He uses botox to retain a specific kind of appearance. The part of himself that is visible.

The proof is in his face. He is not androgenously beautiful ( that is indeed a slander). He is botoxed masculine and that much that it's visible on camera. Nothing moves in his face other than his mouth. The muscles under his eyes are completely immobilized and that is the reason why they don't move when he smiles. When non botoxed people smile their eyes smile too. His eyes retain the same shape. And that is perhaps the reason why he looks so persuasive as a cocky cold psychopathic killer. But that is also the reason why it is impossible for him to have more than a couple of expressions.
A kind and caring person who drove another person to commit suicide with a very gory way, as part of her professional…
Even if someone else pushed the victim out of the window, what she had already said to this person is an evidence about what her character is. You don't have always to harm someone physically ( though we saw on the first episode that she had no problem to do that as well). You can harm someone psychologically too, and up to the point that the damage is not reversible. The last thing that a rape victim needs is to be told that she deserved to be raped because she is not good enough, or clever enough, or capable enough etc. etc. etc. It is what I've said on another comment on the same discussion. She literally added insult to the whatever injury was there!
Whatever were their intentions, the traits of this character are an insult for all the women who are trying to…
Yes some professionals are ruthless. But don't confuse though ruthlessness with strong will. These are two different things. The most successful professionals are not usually ruthless. Most of them just have that very strong will that drives them to take the most difficult of decisions. The/any professional field is not a charity and hard decisions are part of the work most of the times, which the leaders are obliged by default to take. Otherwise they will not be able to retain their businesses and the jobs of the people that they employ.
most entitled review i have ever seen. Their r 100s of dramas where roles are reversed lol. And people shouldn't…
Reviews are entitled by default because they are based on personal opinions. And those who don't want other people to be allowed to express their opinion into a review or with any other way, are simply fascists.
