its cute nothing spectacular, i think the characters are more interesting than the plot thus far. theyre all fun and i like the chemistry the actors have with each other. This really deserved more budget because with the plot and characters fleshed out more i think it could be really great.

charlie truly is the worst character and i cant tell if its the writing or the acting or both. i find myself skipping all charliebabe scenes together when the rest of the story is actually quite engaging. willy is by far much more interesting.

so we get daon hurt/comfort with seonghyeon helping him unpack and face his trauma by telling his side of the story, but we also get more of the psychodrama w jaemin telling suhyeon how his obsession with daon started and his more warped version of events. this also allows for the writers to include suhyeon's pov with jaemin as well.
i need a season 2 or a prequel or something because im still so obsessed with these characters and their dynamics together. i feel like theres still so much to work with here narratively, and we normally dont get darker stories like this in bl. im also mad i didnt get to see jaemin in a straitjacket.

now on to our two psychos. Both belong in a padded room, but jaemin is definitely worse than suhyeon. while SH is obviously toxic and possessive, he still wears his heart on his sleeve. He's still acting like a human (as flawed as he is) and you can tell that his actions are motivated by a need for love. He's also never hid his true nature from daon.
JAEMIN however gives sociopath. I don't believe he actually cares about daon i think he just enjoys the devotion he gives him. from the very start of the show, daon and suhyeon's every action has been a product of his manipulation. he's cold and calculating and that's far scarier than whatever suhyeon is doing. Now that the mask has slipped a bit im curious to see if he starts acting out as well.
