Agree with you. I really want to strangle the mom whenever she’s on screen. So, for my sanity’s sake, I just FF her screen time. 😂

I did FF her scenes. I already expected a controlling and annoying mom coming into this drama but still my blood boils everytime she’s on screen. Haha! I commend the actress playing MCH’s mom for her great acting skills successfully portraying an irritating mom. Sorry if I have to skip her parts. It’s for my own sanity.

If only the slot is not limited, then maybe her name will appear on the list. I think KJW is brilliant and so are the ones in the list especially Ra Miran in THBM. Her performance in that drama is truly beyond exceptional.

Don’t bother the so called “many people “. They are not many to begin with. Just a few who were bitter because their faves didn’t make it. KSH’s parade of trophies are a testament of his skills. His acting prowess is not a one time feat. So, there’s nothing to worry. We know he very well deserves that nomination.

I read some posts here that NYC is not fit because of the ongoing tension between US and China. But this is maybe some speculations only, I don’t know.

This is another feel good drama I have watched. Nothing really outstanding except the actors visuals of course. But the plot is just a so-so for me. The game is something that doesn’t interest me at all, I skip a lot of the gaming scenes TBH.

What I love about this drama is there haven’t been a prolonged miscommunication between the main leads that other dramas used to propel the story. Here, the main leads have excellent communication that left no misunderstandings around that could create a conflict. Except maybe on the scene about Lu Jing planning to study abroad that Liang Chen wasn’t aware of. However, it was wrapped up quickly and nicely, giving us lessons along the way on how to keep a relationship in the right track.

This drama has a lot of hits and misses for me but one thing I can assure you is that this has EXCELLENT OSTs that are constantly playing on repeat in my head right now. All of the songs are just PERFECT!!!

As much as I want for the drama to air very soon, I am more than willing to wait if that means a good output will come out of it. Please drama producers, don’t let us down! 🙏🙏🙏

Also, the way he cried his heart out without making a sound when he saw Ran Ran’s body among the pile of corpse inside the temple, that scene tore me up. 😭 when he put on his bulletproof vest and helmet to Ran Ran, that saved her life. I don’t know if the drama will really be able to capture the scenes I was seeing in my head while reading the novel. I just hope it will turn out fine.

Yeah, it will be so sad if that scene is cut because for me, it’s an important scene depicting his deep anguish with what happened to Ran Ran. I really hope there’s a way to show that scene without getting censored.

Which parts do you think will get cut apart from the bed scenes? Maybe the gruesome ones? But I hope they will still be able to depict how I pictured the war scenes in my head.

Yes, it’s just right if it follows the novel closely. I am so excited! The novel’s pretty good.

I personally love Rising With The Wind. I have always been drawn with strong woman characters and Jiang Hu (FL) is one of those. Xu Si (ML) is also a debatable character which I love from start to end. Elaine Zhong and Gong Jun slayed their roles here.

FL will learn that ML is her gaming friend when she sent a message to him that she was out drinking with colleagues and he appeared afterwards. She was testing waters if indeed GX is that gamer she was chatting with the whole time. Since he’s the only one she shared this info with, only he will know where to find her.

Agree with the points you raised particularly in the management area. GX could have done better here.

I can understand the original creator’s hesitation towards YQL. After all, LZ is her creation, the character she developed from scratch, so having others develop her masterpiece could be uncomfortable because you want to get the best for her. For someone who made a design that doesn’t align with her plans, I could understand with her reaction. I hope her words will fuel YQL to challenge herself and emerge victorious in this, gaining the team’s ultimate trust with her capabilities.

I am not a fan of any specific actors or actresses. I admire their skills then I move on. Among the many actresses in kdrama, Park Shin Hye is one of the actresses I admired for their talents. If somebody can make me cry for a heartbreaking scene, I would consider them as good. PSH has made me cry in this drama, particularly the scene where she read her mom’s text message saying she doesn’t want a successful child, rather a healthy one. Her emotions felt so raw to me, I didn’t realize my tears were already falling.

The new description above is much better than the previous one. Didn’t know when it changed. But it brings me back to the time I was reading the novel. To be honest, this is the drama I am anticipating the most because of how the novel touched me to the core. Looking forward to seeing the characters I love brought to life. ❤️
