I think the drama’s portrayal of first love and even love at first sight resonates with MOST of the audiences as evident by the comments here, high ratings, and even positive reviews. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any drama that was never criticized, no matter how great it was.

I absolutely love both dramas. I can’t compare which is better than the other since they both had charms. HL is more youthful and taking in the feelings of first love at a tender age. It makes you feel nostalgic in a very good way. AASOL is more of a love between mature individuals.

Is that a xianxia drama? I only watch modern dramas unfortunately (one exception is Love Between A Fairy and Devil since a lot of people really pulled me into watching it). I wish this actor’s career will flourish and he’ll get the recognition he deserves. ❤️
