This is the first Cdrama I watched in recent times, maybe around 2021. I got instantly hooked because I love sports dramas plus this one parades super good looking casts. Then I saw the BTS and found out Peng Yu Chang is 180degrees different from his character here. In reality, he is a bubbly and jolly person but in the drama, he has to act cold and indifferent. There’s one scene with him and his dad that needs to be serious and it took them several takes to perfect it. He just couldn’t be serious. Nyahaha! 😂😂😂

Hoping for season 2 but I still want to see the same actors playing their original characters.

My personal opinion about Only For Love is even the pairing and the casts’ excellent performance couldn’t save the drama (I’m sorry I shouldn’t be talking about it in this page). I haven’t read the original novel so I don’t know what to expect there. But with ABAY, I enjoyed this novel a lot! I really hope I will be wrong with Ms. Screenwriter. 🙏

I just checked out the screenwriter’s profile and I am a little bit worried because of Only For Love. I personally think there are just too many plot holes in that drama which kept me from enjoying it no matter how great the actors are. I hope she won’t make a mess out of As Beautiful As You and White Olive Tree which are both masterpieces of the same author. I love both novels so bad! I won’t be able to forgive her and the director if they mess up a gold source material. Please prove me wrong this time Ms. Screenwriter! I’ll be very happy to be proven wrong about you. Please!!! 🙏

If the drama will stick closely to the novel, then there won’t be any SFL or SML to worry about. I am readying myself to cry buckets when this will air. Oh God!

Just finished reading the novel and it’s the first time I cried so much while reading a book. Like why??? 😭😭😭 That preface from Little Sapling on the 18th anniversary edition of the book just opened the floodgates of tears in my eyes. Azan and Ranran, your love is beyond imaginable. My heart aches. 💔

I am so looking forward to the drama adaptation of this wonderful novel. I know Chen Zheyuan and Liang Jie will nail their roles! While reading the novel, I can picture them out as Li Zan and Song Ran perfectly like this drama is made for them. Can’t wait for this drama to be aired.

I respect your opinion. However, the score is telling that a lot of people are seeing the sizzling chemistry of both leads, myself included. I also enjoy the story and its pacing. And I feel Song Kang portrayed his role as a Demon pretty well.

But I guess this drama is not for everyone. I am open to contradicting opinions as long as these remain within the boundaries of mutual respect.

Wow! A very concise summary coming from a novel reader. I can also relate to tge anxiety you felt when I lear has 30+ something episodes because if I based it on the novel, 24 episodes would be the max. I keep praying the scriptwriter will not make a mess of this beautiful story and she didn’t disappoint! A very big THANK YOU! I realized while watching the drama that there are a lot of things to explore apart from the main leads’ story where the novel focused more. Those stories add depth in the overall drama and also explained some scenes that were introduced in the novel. One example is how the Perfect Voice actors were very excited when GS first visited the studio. In the novel, there were no details how they knew about QQC’s feelings for her but the drama explored this, that’s why on her first visit, everyone was so excited, accommodating and entertained. Another one was the announcement of QQC’s retirement. The novel touched this topic in simple terms but the drama explored this a little more. We were shown how the other actors felt about it, their denial, understanding and finally acceptance of QQC’s decision. We were also shown their company’s background story on how they started in the industry. The 30+ episodes gave justice to this wonderful drama.

No problems between the couple. It's more of overcoming the hesitations from FL's side because she revered the ML so much. She is still not convinced that a god in the 2D world will notice a nobody like her. There is really no angst in the novel that can make you anxious. It's a very healthy relationship between the leads.

I like the FL's style. The actress also played her role excellently as a lovestruck lady in front of her crush. Her eyes are twinkling whenever they stare at each other. I couldn't help but melt.

hahaha! even the time when he was choosing which suit to use for DingDing's birthday party, he was contemplating using those 3 suits. in the end, he chose a more decent one (not any of those 3 suits, thank goodness!!!). what's happening with the stylist? is he/she even there to begin with? is this a low budget drama? if so, can't the actors maybe help a little bit since they might have numerous endorsements left and right from luxurious designers. it can also be a way of promoting those designs. hahaha! this is just so ridiculous. i was thinking of putting up a comment about the suits but you just got ahead of me here. i am very, super bothered with his office outfits. it's funny i was not alone in this observation. hahaha!

hahaha! this is really annoying the hell out of me. why does this CEO only have 3 suits? OMG! i don't even like those styles. his assistant looks way much better than him. lol

In the novel, there's no breakup and 3rd party. It's a really sweet, fluffy romance and mutual respect between the leads. It's a happy ending of course. Let's hope the scriptwriter will not mess this up. But so far, the drama stayed close to the novel. I am really loving it every second of each episode. The actors gave an excellent performance as well.
