Hey there, thanks for your post. As a gay adult guy, I'm happy to have any LGBTQ+ representation. But BLs have…
Hmmm... I love this comment. I never thought about it in this way. I guess I didn't take that into account. See I don't know if the story telling failed because this show's story is different or not enough effort was put into the writing. But maybe these type of shows which try to do something that hasn't been done before do require experimentation and the viewers to give them wiggle room.
All the insults to this body or work- βtrash, Dumpster fire, train wreck etcβ is beyond me- How are we gonna…
Representation is great, but I don't know if we should accept every bit of representation we get. I think we should be looking for more than just representation. We should be striving for good representation that represents the community.
Like others I am disappointed a bit in the toxicity of the show but mostly because of the lack of development and the fluff/drawn out scenes used to pad out a 45min episode. Quite a few shows have been doing this and it feels like an effort for these studios to get a piece of the BL pie, while doing the minimum effort.
There are so many forces which influence the shows that get made today. A major force is business aspect and some are the fans. I think these comments are representing a portion of the fans who are frustrated that one of the biggest hyped series of 2022 has a fairly weak story.
is this show good .... the concept of a teddy bear coming to life is putting me off - if one of the character's…
Like everyone said it's insanely good. I'm currently only up to ep 6 but the complexity of the story and the characters is incredible. I think a gay person was definitely involved in the writing of this show. I love how it looks at the struggles of life in all areas involving family, mental health and how it effects others that are around and delves into the actual struggles of being a gay person. Other BLs I have watched, I have enjoyed the romance but never could really relate to the characters as they were often scrubbed of their gay identity. This show really captures the essence of being gay amongst a lot of other things and I relate to Nat so much.
I feel like this show badly wants to be A Tale of Thousand Stars and it's just.... not. I'm following along with…
No I would die in 12 degrees C. I live in Australia and I need a full on coat for such cold temperature. Honestly you wouldn't even find me outside at that temperature.
Damn I'm shook. SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN EP 10.
Win and Lin's mum is so conniving I'm impressed and shock. Probably the biggest reveal in a BL this year. She seemed like a sweet and innocent mother unbeknownst to us all she was secretly playing the Game of Thrones.
How is this? I am not that big fan of body swap BLS? But is this good ? How does the plot go forward? Kindly answer…
I just binged it (Sorry couldn't wait for the full youtube release). This series has a much simpler plot and budget and is definitely not ATOTS level, but it's decent. This is exactly how you should do a series when you don't have a big budget. Obviously it's not going to compete with the bigger budget shows. Also, I feel that it's one of those shows that's not that good week by week because each episode isn't strong on it's own but collectively it's okay.
Ep 5 - I'm dropping it after the first scene. How many times are we going with the same food joke? I feel like…
If you're gonna give up watching it week by week. I reckon just binge it. I just did and it's a much better experience. It's a nice show. It's not a great show but I've seen you've stuck through worse shows and I think this is could be a nice watchπ.
Yes it has a lot of views, but the series doesn't give impact like other popular series like 2gether. KinnPorsche…
Agreed I don't think I'll be rewatching this series like past series. Their make out series are mint but it seems that the producer completely neglected to pull the whole show together.
Episodes is already too short and they wasted too much time on flashbacks. With this plot, actors and chemistry…
I was so shocked when I was watching ep 8 when they spent a whole 5mins which is 30% of the episode on flashbacks. Especially since there was so much to resolve.
It was the same pool from "Golden Blood", the scenes were very similar even in the clothes color. That's another…
screaming I didn't even notice, I removed Golden Blood from my head it was so bad. It seems like it's all about making a quick buck these days. It feels almost insulting.
