Waterboy was my second thai BL, 2gether was my first and I can't forgive the producers for that high five. Most anti-climatic moment of any show. I still like the first 9 episodes of that show though.
Hi All, I’m waiting for this one to be done to start. How’s it going? Do you recommend? What do you like about…
It's a show you definitely have to watch. All GMMTV BL is but in terms of story and quality, it's probably their worst excluding WaterBoy. I'd even say Waterboy had better acting. The issue for me isn't the leads but the many awkward forced moments between the couple and the dry plot.
I oddly really enjoy this show. Mainly cause the leads are attractive and the acting is interesting, but the characters? Why did Hia switch? I'm confused what are their motives and what personalities they're trying to display. Is Kuea still doing his cute boy act?
It was weird to me didn't guess he was this manipulative and some scenes don't make sense after knowing that,…
Yeah honestly it doesn't make sense. Honestly who ever would have been Enchante would have had plot holes because they didn't pay attention to the details well.
Never in my life I was so not wanting a kiss between two main couple, never ever in my life it's happned before…
Their story is so bad. Even the kiss was bad. I was laughing the whole time they kissed. I'm honestly really shocked. The story and script is the worst part for me. Their romance is just really drawn out repetitive scenes of them staring at each other which never really develop properly?? This may be one of the worst BLs of this year. Idk how it ranks with Physical Therapy though but I dropped that one.
This series is sooo bad but it shouldn't be. I'm just stunned. Even the high point in this episode began dragging and became boring. What a disappointment. Thank god for Gawin's singing. He is bloody amazing.
Don't shot me but i kinda don't like Nat in the role of Kondiao - i saw him before in Y-Dynasty and Nuea role…
Hahaha I was thinking the exact opposite the other day. I haven't seen a lot of interviews of Nat but from what I have seen he seems a bit shy. Personally I felt his role in Y-Destiny was so forced and unnatural. It was giving seductive child? I think if his character was better written in Cutie Pie and they kept the cutie but removed some of the timid nature then he would be a much better character. Like he is meant to have a black belt?
So I quit at episode 2 and I just came to check how this series is going and the comments are bloody hilarious. Please keep commenting. I'm actually intrigued how the hell the plot will tie together.
I like this show a lot and I have been enjoying it so far but there is something that annoyes me. What is with…
Yeah I think it's definitely digitally enhanced. I think filming in a studio with all the lights probably makes colour pop. I don't mind it but I hope it doesn't become a trend. It feels almost oversaturating.
Hmm I just binged the show up until ep9. I'm a little confused what the idea behind this show is. Apart from the cinematography there is nothing that this show really excels in. After episode 5/6 the show really doesn't give off anything exciting. There are too many scenes where its just dialog between Shiro, Ichiro (and Raon) that don't elicit any emotions from me. The mystery detective element is also just falling flat. I don't feel any of the highs and lows. I don't feel teased. I'm quite disappointed honestly.
Oh I completely forgot. I watched the trailer last January. Basically instead of girl to boy body swap, it's boy to girl. You making it sound like a good series I can't wait to watch it. I'll wait till it's fully out. What rating would you give it. Is 7.7 accurate?
I'm speaking for myself (although I wouldn't be surprised if others might agree). I hear ya loud and clear. But,…
This comment about media being so influential! One aspect we see media as so influential is for shows where there has been good gay representation. It is not only powerful for the gay community but it's also destigmatizes the general publics perception of gay people. Now I know BL probably has a specific target audience, but the genre does inspire and influence. These toxicity when over portrayed in media and given the notion of aspect start to become normalised and that's the huge problem.
Saying that I binged the first 4 episodes of this show and I'm totally loving it. I'm loving the tropey behaviour we are seeing but I also love that we are acknowledging that it is not ideal. I think when we can't recognise it or ignore it that's when it becomes an issue.
