This show is insane!! I actually ended up liking the basketball. I'm glad they filmed it in a way that it actually makes it look like they know how to play basketball which is important if you're doing a show about high-level basketball competitions.
Again, one of the best BLs of all time stapled to tiresome basketball scenes. I like that the sports are relevant…
Yeah I wish FahThorn and the basketball storyline was more cohesive. They almost ran parallel to each other but I'm so glad they improved the quality of the way they shot the basketball scenes. At the start of the show it was awful and it felt like it was used because basketball themed BLs were becoming trendy (moving on from the cooking theme).
This series was such a huge letdown. I was so hyped about the series as I really like Oxin Films but the quality…
Agreed I was thinking exactly what you said about the audience wanting more than an attractive face last night. I feel like a lot dramas do this at the expensive of quality storytelling.
Also, I think Adrian does have promise, but a lead role is just quite big for a complete newbie. Coupled with not redoing takes when they aren't right, it just requires someone with quite a bit of acting experience.
PSA: Studios you need to make sure the actors you choose for a GAY drama are actually fine with the GAY elements that come with playing a GAY character.
I think I'm gonna bail now after watching episode 7. There were too many melodramatic moments for characters and couples I haven't had enough time to connect with to feel their emotions. My highlight of episode 7 was Zafar's song but unfortunately it was also effected by really choppy editing.
we getting all those shameless flirt to get such a "ridiculous" angle camera kiss ? Really Really !!so far episode…
Yeah wtf was the fake kiss. It was soo anti-climatic. They were saying I love you and followed it off with the fake kiss. It's my pet hate. To me it's almost homophobic. You would never see this in a straight romance drama. My mind when I saw it went away from the moment to thinking oh the actors think kissing a guy is so gross that didn't want to do.
I wasn't expecting tongues down each others throats but I am expecting something that's realistic.
For some reason I thought this was a six-episode series but come to realize it's TWELVE. They've got to be kidding.…
I was considering waiting till it fully came out to watch but I think I'll give it a pass. I have 16 shows currently airing right now in my watch list which means I have the opportunity to pick and choose.
It seems that Padbok's actor, Junior, has quite probably ended his contract with Star Hunter Entertainment. Add…
That's so sad. They were my favourite from season 1. I absolutely love the haters to lover trope. It really feels like this series has fallen apart in season 2.
I'm really loving all the couples. I'm enjoying Aii and Saen the most. Aii's hesitation and inner struggles are interesting and complex. I can't believe I started off not really liking this series and now it's my favourite one currently airing.
Episode 6 has been one of my favourites. The musical numbers are the strongest part to the show so I was glad they gave us three number today and Adrian sang in all three singing in harmony. Humour was on point. Mikey's mum made me laugh sooo much.
I am still not sure where they plan on taking the direction of the show. I think we will run out of real time to explore how Zayn plans on going back to Zabania. The next 4 episodes better pick up the pace dramatically.
For me the highlight of Episode 6 was hearing that Adrian can sing (and in three different songs). Until now I'd…
Right the musical numbers are really good and cover up the sort of cheesy bad acting thing the show has going on. I think they should do more of them (even though they must require a heck a lot of work). I was happy and shocked to see Marcus's singing. I was 100% not expecting him to sing or dance as good as he did, which makes me confused why he hasn't and why it's taken so long to get two strong singing and dancing numbers. I think they should do one each episode.
Also who is Marcus, I completely forgot who he was?
This show is a trainwreck! seriously it's so bad. I don't know why I keep watching. Well I do : when you see a…
I wondering maybe he didn't actually cheat. Maybe it was a misunderstanding? I don't think they will take that route though with only 5 episodes left. I'm super curious: 1. How Prince Zeyn is will get back on the throne? 2. If he does get the chance to become king, what will happen to him and Mikey's relationship?
This show seriously gets better every week.
