Hesitant to watch this show from the trailer itself and the negative comments I've been reading. Although, I want…
I reckon watch it. It's not awful and I don't regret watching it but it should have been better and that's why people are annoyed. Like others have said, it's only 4hrs long so not a huge commitment.
Aiaoon is clearly in the wrong. He is just stringing everyone along.. He jumped on Nawee, dragged him out, confessed…
Right like wtf. I'm so disappointed. I'm confused why Aiaoon was initially shown as a character who is strong willed and a man of principles but now we learn he's a two timing little bitch. I wanted both the fiance and Nawee to slap him.
Right I'm confused. I'm mostly confused about where Hia and Kuea started from in episode 1, where Hia didn't seem…
Yeah that's how I am interpreted it too but I think that makes Hia suck even more. I just see two different stories going on. One where Hia always had feelings for Kuea but just didn't bother to show it until Kuea cancelled the engagement. The other one is Hia didn't really have any feelings but Kuea being naughty made him start falling in love. My silly brain is forcing itself to try and make sense of all the scenes I've seen, but it keeps going round in circles.
Damn this show is insanely popular. I came here to see if anyone else is confused about the plot and maybe if someone could bring some clarity but everyone is going frantic.
Ok, I'm taking a break from this one at ep. 5. The premise sounded really interesting, but the plot just does…
Right I'm confused. I'm mostly confused about where Hia and Kuea started from in episode 1, where Hia didn't seem to care about Kuea. Hia flipped a switch at some point. Kuea is still playing the innocent part even though Hia knows a bit about his antics. I don't understand why Hia is now interested in Kuea. I'm enjoying the show but I'm confused at the same time?
I had hope for this show but there are way too many issues. Each episode literally feels like I've watched only one scene in any other show. I feel this juxta-position of a high quality visual production but at the same time no budget to make a longer series. I really love the haters to lovers trope but it needs time to develop. They introduced major conflict in episode 2, and I can't see how they plan to properly develop the story in these characters in such little time. I sadly feel like it will be like Golden Blood. Promising interesting concept that would have been great if there was good plot development.
I'm going crazy. They released episode 10 but there isn't any subtitles for ep 8. I'll probably wait till its finished. Although I like watching weekly and interacting with users. I'm about to go crazy.
While I hope the series has a good amount of episodes I think I would die if it were THAT many sdfghjk. We'd never…
I'm also confused. Where can we expect the story to go? Maybe it's just early days but I don't see a lot of room for the story to grow to keep it interesting enough to run for a long time.
Isn't this going to be the longest bl series ever it's a sitcom it's has to be more than hundreds of episodes…
*sigh I thought this was going to be drama length with a sitcom style. Have you ever watched gay storyline in a soap eg. Robron. Those shows legit will take 2 years before two characters become end game. I don't have the patience in me. Also I don't want to jinx it but shows get cancelled all the time. Longer length ones run into an issue where the couple doesn't get together because of it. I will probably wait till I hear news.
This show is brilliant. I think the story overall is average but honestly the chemistry between the leads and the build up to their flirting is insane and feels genuine. I'm actually thoroughly impressed with these leads. Fluke is a talented actor and he's so expressive. Fame plays the shyer character so well. He's not as expressive as Fluke but it fits his character he still able to really communicate with the audience.
The rating started good, than went down week to week when it was obvious it would have a tragic ending. After…
Okay, I'm guessing it's got a sad ending. I ask mainly because I haven't watched the show yet and 7.6 rating is on the cusp of what I generally dismiss. I don't mind sad endings I wish more BL used sad endings to add a bit of unpredictability in their shows.
I still question why I was more intrigued by this trailer than Bad Buddy at the beginning of last year...This…
Yeah it's weird. Fish Upon The Sky was not my favourite but overall it was still enjoyable to watch. Same with almost every other GMMTV BL I've watched. I hated Chonlatee because of that despicable ending but each show had some complexity that stimulated my brain. I get none of that with this show which shocks me because you expect better quality as the genre matures.
The negativity spread like wildfire during the pandemic. Before that, you can read so little of negative things.
I think it's less about the pandemic bringing negativity and more the quality and number of BL shows increasing dramatically up until and during the pandemic. Most likely because of the increase in popularity of BL show.
It's weird that people are equating others leave their thoughts about a show as them being negative Nancys instead of the show maybe not being high in quality. The comment section is here for people to voice their opinion about what they think of a show. It's not only for those to leave a positive review which would be a false representation of everyone's thoughts on the show. The BL series market is not small anymore and with so much money to be made, no longer can you just have two guys kiss mid series and expect to stand against other shows with much better quality.
This episode wasn't too bad but I'm still not feeling Akk and Theo's chemistry. It feels very manufactured and scenes showing their chemistry don't feel cohesive to a main plot. The drama at the end has piqued my interest a bit, but I still can't wait for it to be over and for Cupid's Love to start.
