Damn am I the only one who enjoyed this series? It is definitely not the best but it's not the worst. If you ever run out of things to watch. It's definitely better than a half the shows I've watched this year like Y-destiny, Fish Upon the Sky, Hidden Love, Nitiman, Nobleman Ryu's Wedding, Second Chance, Siew Sum Noi, Be Loved in House: I Do,
I'm trying not to read spoilers but I really want to read the comments to see if everyone is going crazy about this show like me. I'm trying to decide if it will beat A tale of a thousand stars as my favourite BL of this year.
This drama had so much potential, but it's really fallen flat on that and has been kind disappointing and at times…
It really did fall flat and for me it did make promises that it didn't deliver. Episode 7 was a mess. Up into episode 7 the show had bits of comedy interlaced through it with the story at the forefront. Unfortunately, the show became a joke for the middle part of this episode and I could no longer take it seriously. I know this because I felt nothing when Sun was shot. 100% not the drama we wanted!!!
You are all acting like youβre a professional critic or The Academy member or something... even in the first…
I think the comments are a little harsh and we should try not to diminish their work, but I was disappointed with the last episode. Overacting for comedic effect works but it needs to happen at the right moments. Episode 7 was meant to be a really climatic episode and was the make or break for this show as episode 5/6 was legit just Sky throwing tantrums. Unfortunately the goofy cringe action in episode 7 (the second last episode!!) undermined the story.
Siew Sum Noi and Fish Upon the Sky are both not perfect but are demonstrations of how/when you should do goofy. Either keep the goofiness consistent all the way through or start off with it and dial it back as the story starts to develop.
