I found the reconciliation among the family members of Lukmo and Simai to be very unnatural. Lukmo has been abandoned…
I actually didn't find Copy's father's reaction weird. I think his dad was secretly hoping his son would date girls and that's why he asked about it at the shop but he's willing to accept the fact he doesn't like girls. I think that's pretty common.
as much as i love this show, what the fuck is going on? this slow burn is taking fucking forever to build up (only…
Right I was fully expecting them to pick up the pace, like we got that major info last week. I was actually so excited for this episode. Now I've learnt my lesson.
Hmm getting kind of annoyed with the poor plot of BLs with really good potential. This should have been an all out dramatic episode. Like we finally got the reveal last week instead it was slow and the characters were nonchalant. This episode could have been condensed down into 5mins.
They're going way too fast like you just met bro??
I feel yah. I was like what is happening. One episode ago Sky was crushing on a girl, now he and is bodyguard are giving each other necklaces???? Like I like it but this is so intense.
What the f#$%ety f#$% was that? What the hell exactly was the "plan" the friends had? To continuously sabotage…
Damn I love you. You always call out stuff for what it really is. It's disappointing. Idk how they came up with a plot that was repetitive, boring and didn't actually come together in the end.
The lead couple is nice. The overall acting is good. Nice cinematography as well. I really enjoyed the scene of…
I completely agree with you. I'm glad I watched it but the story telling was weak. Nothing really came together in the end. I expected them to connect the dots, but they didn't.
The last episode was nice. Obviously one of the best episodes of the series. Overall it was an okay show. I'm a bit disappointed though. It had potential but the story telling was quite weak. I think there was potential to develop the side characters way more but it was so slow paced and repetitive. You would learn one little thing about some each episode. Also, it felt like this show was going to build up to a something with all this mystery that was developed but then it didn't really so it fell really flat to me.
I still want a second season though. With a much improved plot.
I searched for something quoted earlier about disrespectful treatment towards the Lead couple by a acting coach?…
Yeah that was kind of weird. I honestly don't know what to make of it because we don't have the full context but the part where he shoved their faces together was just ugghh. And that kiss scene wasn't my favourite because it was sober kisses drunk person.
The rule is so weird right. I don't know if it's there as a hint to viewers not to take this show seriously, or…
Yeah I guess it was done to give us some conflict and really push the mysteriousness of Jin's past where he has obviously been so hurt by love in the past that he can't bare the sight of it. I reckon the rule will be sort of symbolic to this hurt that he doesn't seem to have fully dealt with and getting rid of the rule will be him moving on from the hurt. I think that's why the writers haven't let Jin rip it up yet.
But nonetheless no matter how they explain this rule, no worker would actually tolerate it in real life.
This is true...for me this is the only bl I've been able to watch since ATOTS and WOH, I keep trying all the others…
Yeah I currently don't start watching BL's until about 2/3s of the series is out, unless I've been really wanting to watch it. So I'm going to wait a bit but I've heard mostly positive things about Light On Me.
Probably the best BL drama that's airing right now. It may be light, predictable, some things don't totally make sense but it's still interesting enough to be enjoyable.
Kind of sick of BLs dragging out there shows to fill out the allocated time. How can a production with this budget have such a lack lustre story. A lot of scenes I see should of ended up in deleted scenes because they have zero importance to the story.
However, the actors you're doing a great job. Anyone to do with the OSTs, and filming crew are absolutely brilliant. It's just the story that's really disappointing.
