In the previous episode it was Duean. BTW, last week a user made some observations about the original scene in…
I thought it was Duean!!!! But people were saying that it wasn't him!?!?! Please do I'm very curious to see what people are thinking. The only thing I really notice was the fish upon the sky tag.
Gaahhh, this is so bland. I’ve never seen a BL that had so little going on after 5 episodes. The story comes…
Yeah, Kaownah acting in this has confused me. Like you said he is so talented which is why I was shocked. Maybe this isn't the role for him. His acting is unnaturally awkward in this show. I think he's meant to be sort of goofy but it's just not working for me. Oh well he is still insanely talented and has a good future in the entertainment industry.
Wow this episode was really sweet!! More has been unveiled. I really wanted to see the balloon scene though. Who gave him the balloons in the previous episode?
Yeah the kissing a drunk person who says they don't like you. ?♂️I hope they use it effectively in the…
Yeah, I'm so curious which one it is. I can't wait for the stars to align and see which one it is. I like how they're using it to create a touch of suspense.
I have no idea why my previous comment was deleted, but I'm gonna say it again: I was really enjoying the series…
Yeah the kissing a drunk person who says they don't like you. ?♂️I hope they use it effectively in the plot though. Do you think Keam likes Jin? I've been seeing a lot of comments about that, but I didn't notice it when I was watching.
I just finished watching episode 7-8 because people said it was good and they were 100% right. This is what I was expecting the whole show to be like. If only the previous episodes were half as good as these two. These two episodes were probably the best BL storyline that came out (which I have watched) in 2021 excluding A Tale of a Thousand Stars and We Best Love S2.
What made the episodes good is the simple yet interesting storyline that was missing from previous storylines. They used the little details and the acting to invoke emotion from us. I think I loved it most because I felt completely invested in the story while watching it. Most importantly there were no big moments where I was like gosh the writing is terrible or the acting is pretty bad.
This series is a mess. Something better happen shocking or unexpected real quick. I need something to tie it all together. It's sort of entertaining but the Mork and Pi story is a merry go round. I'm more interested in Duen and Meen who don't get enough screen time. ?
When you think about it what has happened so far?! Mork likes Pi. Pi seems to have feelings but can't accept it and we have gotten 6hrs of this minus Duen and Meen time. There has been almost zero development in any shape or form for the two of them. Pi's behaviour half the time is so illogical it doesn't make sense.
I must applaud the actors though. They are absolutely killing it. Phuwin's acting is just embodys the role as usual and Pond is just a natural for his first role. Neo (my fav) and Louis are absolutely slaying too.
I have to agree with this review sadly. I wanted to like this show more than I did because it covered some issues involved in the BL industry that I wish didn't exist but yeah after the 4th episode it just went in all sorts of weird directions. Like you, I was constantly bored watching this. I think because the episodes were 1hr 20mins (not necessary).
I am not getting the right-off-the-bat wholesomeness vibe that HIStory usually gives me. For starters, the main…
No this is not it. This is just disrespectful. His physique is fine. We aren't here to comment about people's bodies and I hope you never talk about someone like this in real life. You have your personal opinion but everyone is taught while growing up that some things are rude and we should keep them to ourselves.
Judging from your standard, probably millions of people need to see a doctor.
I don't think this show or BL in general can be compared to a crime series. When we see horrible acts in crime shows or any other violent show no one roots for the villain/murderer (excluding revenge plots) but for some reason in BL, it doesn't matter the bad things a person does. People will ignore it and still root for that person and the person they are paired with to get together and expect that to happen. And since it's BL, it's always end game.
However, I don't agree with the original commenter's statement.
I don't agree with you. Of course there are many wrongs in this drama but you don't have to bash it like that.…
BL generally can't have complicated, thought provoking characters and behaviour because it's key role and audience that it caters to wants them to create shippable and likeable characters for the audience to root for. That's why we continually run into these instances when characters commit questionable acts in BL but viewers excuse/ignore the issues so they can happily meet their goal of shipping the characters and seeing them become endgame.
This is where my frustration lies. I would have been more receptive to this show if we critically analysed the characters especially the younger brother but no, lot's were romanticizing a problematic relationship. Also, I don't think it was the productions real intent or did they successfully deliver a show that was meant for us to be thinking about these thing.
My new question to people is "Do you like HIstory 4" and if the answer is yes, I run for the hills. This drama…
Hey I think this is a little harsh. I hate this series for all the problematic stuff it involves and I'm annoyed at having to explain defend why it is so. However, I don't think your statement does any favours in communicating your point.
This show is crap like seriously I couldn't get through the first couple cause I didn't understand what was going…
This!! I don't know why they bothered with this series. Currently it's ranking top 3 in worst BL shows I've ever watched and I've seen over 65 shows. I find it quite insulting that they thought they could get away with such a poorly made show. It shows how some in BL are really just here for the business. It's not about the craft anymore; no good story telling. They're just in it for some quick easy money.
I check the comments weekly in the hope the show improves (because it does happen) and I am most anticipating Lay and Perth's episode which I'm nervous for.
I thought what his mother meant is that he has changed the last year, so approximately after the incident with…
Yeah this is the only reason I can think of her behaving this way, though it's very thin. I think they need to show more about Pi's past. The short flashback at the beginning of the show is failing to carry through for me. It's like that 5 minute clip is suppose to explain the other 260 mins we have watched. I find myself having to do University calculus just to connect the dots.
I keep hoping the show does better each week and it does in some parts then in others it's more confusing.
I might be totally wrong here... But when the scene was playing, I had these thoughts in my mind.Pi always regarded…
Thank you I think that cleared some things up for me. I think I assumed a bit of what you said in these scenes but I felt like I was making a stretch. So basically he in the later stage of his crush he is interested Mueang for the latter part of his crush because he was unobtainable, which I think Mork alluded to in his explanation of the obsession scene.
The mum scene I thought maybe it was about him have to come out like you said. I wish they established the parents'/public's view on gay relationships in this world. I was under the impression it wasn't frowned upon in the Fish Upon the Sky world. Also they didn't show any apprehension that Pi may have for having feelings for a guy(s)?
But yeah I think you're right about the past episodes that Pi is still has his walls up and that's why he's doesn't want to get close to Mork. I'm hoping they connect things better in future episodes.
