I understand that the book and show is about the main couple, but their story isn't interesting enough to fill the 60-70% of screen time they are getting. It has been a mixture of dragged out scenes and repeated conflict and its really misses an overarching story. I feel like I'm watching a vlog, with several mini stories, not one cohesive story. When you think about it, what is the main conflict of Nitiman?
I think shows shouldn't be afraid to deviate greatly from the book to make a show work. With the show length they had to work with, I think they could of tell the story of some of the side characters more. They've spent so much time creating intrigue and suspense with them, it would be nice to get a release of that suspense.
It's sad because I think this show definitely has the potential. It seems to have all the elements including excellent OSTs. That song that the band performed this episode was fire. I'm going to try and learn it, but the story is just not there.

true hahaha the honeymoon period lasted less than 5 secs when they finally got together, I feel second season vibes from this show. The way the pacing is going, 4 episodes is not much time to wrap any of the secondary couples up and I low key don't care about Jin and Bbomb because they are annoying.
I thought this show was gonna be bad but damn it's so good. I wish I waited till it was finished. The waiting each week for a new episode is going to kill me.

HAHAHA this made me laugh because I feel the EXACT same frustration. I don't get the story that's trying to be told. What is the main plot? It could have been their play, soccer match, or their romance but none have a clear progressing storyline. I feel like I'm watching a really awful vlog of some random people's daily lives where nothing interesting is happening.
Like you said how did this episode advance the story. The communication between Jin and Bbomb is the worst part. No one behaves like that. I'm sure we'll get some ending that will be a satisfying ending for the final episode. However, I'm sort of sick of some of the lazy writing I've been seeing on some BLs lately where nothing happens in the middle of the show and makes a waste of otherwise quite decent actors and production.

I really enjoyed this episode. I was expecting armageddon but it was way toned down than I was expecting. I think this has been one of the more interesting episodes in terms of making me feel invested in the story. I'm surprised because this is probably the most chill BL GMMTV has ever done.

I agree this episode was lacking in material. I think I was hoping the final scene would link up to the rest of the episode. I thought that Bbomb was giving Jin space to help him understand himself and his feelings which he eventually did. But still Jin couldn't be the one to make the first move. Again it had to be Bbomb to question him and to initiate the kiss. Idk the kiss fell flat for me.

Yeah I have the exact same feelings for this series. It's probably been the most interesting BL series this year with the complicated plot and all it's twists and turns, but sometimes it gives me a headache.
