Thanks. I was super confused with part 4 of this episode. Especially the mum scene. I didn't know what I was meant to make of her reaction. I thought maybe I missed something.

That said, I did like this episode because they started to actually show Pi's change of heart for Mork.

I am confusion. Can someone explain to me why Pi is afraid to accept his feeling for Mork and that caused him to confess Mueng? I'm most confused about the convo with his mother and what we were meant to take away from that. I don't understand the story that's trying to be told. I struggle at times to be moved or relate with Pi's character especially in the last part of this episode. It seemed like some attempt to create conflict for him??

That said, Pi and Mork's chemistry is really great and I'm loving the Meen and Duean's storyline.

Nahh you're okay. The last two series shows which had step brothers were okay but this one is just kind of fucked. Honestly nothing redeeming about it.

People praise this BL for being quite real-life and mature until it comes to the problematic stuff then it's fiction. It's fiction that is contributing to a new dangerous norm. Although it's fiction History4 depicts a gay relationship and interlaces usually dark themes such as sexual assault but romanticizes.

People forget how media does a large part in representing a group. For example, Will and Grace did so much to increasing acceptance of LGBTQ+ community. Now, not every show that has gay characters has to and the audiences don't completely overlap but History4 still represents the gay community in a false poor light. How sad have we fallen that we now have BL (gay) media that says stalking people and getting them drunk to sleep with them, is cute and they should be in a relationship but oh yeah it's fiction no worries. Not to mention they are step brothers with quite different ages.

To date BL is the only genre I've seen where sexual assault is normalised and where viewers root for these relationships. Every other genre I know depicts sexual assault for what it is. As ugly, dark and damaging.

Ahhh okay I understand where you're coming from. Progression is my main problem with this series so far. It has been quite slow. It's been there subtly but barely especially this episode where it felt like not much was revealed or developed. I'm hoping they pick up the pace in the following episodes and I guess tie everything together better and use Pi's current behaviour as a chance for some character development.

Hahahaha I completely forgot about the episode 11 and 12 miscommunication plot we always get. I'm really hoping they do something clever with it. I'm kind of tired of it.

Idk, I don't feel the same way about Pi. I think Pi's behaviour makes sense to a degree. Pi doesn't like Mork. He likes Mueang which makes him not receptive to Mork's advances.
To Pi, Mork's behaviour doesn't add up to him. He doesn't know if Mork is playing with him, trying to block him from making a move on Mueang, or something else he hasn't considered. Part of that is his bad history with friends which has caused him to be distrusting nature and he is at times blinded by his crush with Mueang Nan.

There are definite plot holes in terms of Pi's behaviour and I can agree Pi is rude, insensitive to Mork and self-absorbed at times but I don't think that makes him dislikeable as a character. He seems normal to me but definitely has got to figure some things out.

I absolutely agree with this. The excuses I have heard of people justifying each of the problematic elements of the series have been lame and disturbing honestly.

History4 took EVERY problematic cliche in BL and just rode with it. This is the third step brother plot History franchise has done and they've been increasingly getting more and more questionable. They don't even do anything interesting with such a storyline. What's the bet for season 5 we'll get actual brothers??

This episode was sweet :). A good stepping stone for future episodes.

I'm loving this show a lot. It has so many sweet moments and it's an easy watch. I like how GMMTV hire directors that experiment with different styles to their shows. Although it can be very hit and miss so I can see how it may not be for you.

I feel like this show is gonna have a major plot twist in the latter episodes that will hopefully add more interest, seeing this is a 12 episode series. Fingers crossed!! But yeah probably best to put it on hold and see what other people think. I'm doing that with a few other series that are airing.

Hahahaha I did the same a while ago. He literally goes to every single person he disagrees with attacks their opinion and insults them. On numerous shows as well.

Likewise, I've been doing that with a few shows recently. A few of the new shows have just been straight up bad. They are making shows like Waterboyy and What the Duck look like masterpieces. I love fluff shows but make it good fluff.

Hahaha I love them too. I think shippers only work in satirical/comedic sense. Other times when they are literally stalking and invasive they just come off as creepy.

This series is so good, it has that amateur feel but still a really interesting story and production that I can get behind. Quite upsetting for him to get demonitised. I hope he sets up a patreon. I would be so willing to support it.

What I really love about this series is the great friendships I see. They have fun together but they are also there to support their friends.
