is it only me that prefer watching blood of youth first instead of dashing youth? kept seeing people recommending to watch dashing youth first or saying DY should be released first instead of TBOY just bc it was the prequel but in all honesty, where is the fun of it? TBOY is the reason im very much invested in DY. knowing the leads present life (TBOY) made it all more interesting to see about their backstory

i definitely would have drop this long ago if i dont have TBOY as my reference. my main driving force of watching is definitely ye dingzhi and xiao ruofeng simply bc i love angst, hence i get more satisfaction and pain watching them from the beginning of DY to the end, that's what gave the drama and my watching experience more flavours, and the reason why im so attached, so if anyone ask me which to watch first, if you love pain and want more attachment to your shows, watch blood of youth first followed by dashing youth.

i might probably enjoy DY still but i wont get attached if i had watch it first instead of TBOY, there is simply a pain pleasure from knowing how certain character ends from beginning and watching it unravelled

they censor the kiss scene, for what i reasons idk but china has lots of censorship anyway so! romance of little forest has one really hot kiss scene but didnt make it to the cut, legit gave me butterflies we can only see it bc some leak the deleted scenes, also in some chinese short drama, their kiss are much hotter, that tells you anything you need to know (as their regulations seems more lax) and the bts are even hotter for some short drama but unfortunately didnt make the cut, try looking for dai gaozheng drama and mysterious love. but short drama will have bad editing and production depending on the budget they get

i think they meant how someone of her status can get away with so much evil stuff (not how she became evil) i havent reach the episode of her backstory but i do know she has tragic past but does that have influence in elevating her status in the kingdom to the point where she get away with so many things she did (like probably the guilt from the emperor for sending her and knew she went through a lot so they turn a blind eye for bad deeds she did as long as it truly do not cross the line)

though im currenly at ep25, i dont think any of her evil deeds was exposed so i wouldnt say she is above the law for now
