netflix subtitles is so bad imo i surely dk korean but there are some words that i know and i noticed they translated it differently that gives different meaning. in that confrontation from my very poor korean understanding, he said "i regret it. there is not one day that i dont regret it. so stop shaking me (making me waver), i beg you" geuman hendereo (?) gives the meaning as stop shaking me afaik so while to leave me alone can gives the same meaning but it's different, no?

but of course! i could be wrong bc im not proficient in korean at all, it is just not only this series but other netflix original where i noticed the words i knew were translate differently and it frustrate me.

i had no expectation too at first but surprised that i really like it so i look up at the writer, and it is no surprise anymore that it is good. she always know how to write a good drama

lost of the shows i mentioned actually include anime, novel, movies but from what i could think of:

1) the innocent man - i think it already start with ml being quite a bad guy but we do see his good past self in flashback (i watched this long ago so i dont have much recollection whether it start from him being good or not)

2) king of pigs - i did not consider ml as bad but he became corrupted as the show goes on and all of them truly lead a sad life

3) the bad kids (cdrama) - this is an amazing thriller show with only 12 episodes. it is underrated internationally but it was very well received in china, it has 8.8 rating on douban which is a hard feat bc chinese watchers tend to be more harsh on their own drama. lots of popular cdrama receive 6-7 on average so i really do recommend this one.

havent start watching but if jcw turn evil that would be so predictable im sorry maybe i watch too much show where mc became villain so i actually wish he keep on good side. or if she went back to her first love, can we have show where in a trope where first love came in, an established couple stay strong till the end, pls?

im curious to know who is the mascot guy who help sekyeong, could it be her father? engyeol mentor?

i love cheongah but i really dont like that she did not come and give the ticket to him instead. i know she is doing it for him since sekyeong is going abroad soon, but sk is very hopeful that she would come it make me sad, bc i really adore their cute friendship. this also ofc make sk got even mad at yichan and i wish yichan insist of showing her the ticket. i hate this kind of misunderstanding

amazing show fr so happy the screenwriter come back with another drama i really really enjoy. ngl i kind of regretting starting this already 😭

i dont remember much about the show but i'm sure if i rewatch it now i still wouldnt root for sml. he is nice and all, very funny but i was rooting for ml and fl from the start. there is just some sparks they gave me. personally i dont remember him being that bad as people said but even if he was that probably due to people perceptions. some may find him unbearable, while some is fine with it, and i belong to second category.

Start watching and was wondering why i already like it since first ep? I dont find first ep slow, it was very engaging and capture my full attention which doesnt happen a lot. I also enjoy all the band songs when normally in some drama I would just skip it but the ost just very fitting to the settings.

So I look up at the screenwriter, turn out she was the same person who wrote kill me heal me, moon embracing the sun (based on novel) and chicago typewriter. No wonder I love this drama already. I literally rated these three dramas 10/10, this writer just know how to write good story.

i will always love kou. tbh it kind of frustrated me when everything is labelled as red flad and green flag these days as we human are more complex than these two categorisation, we are made up from lots of shades. that is how i felt with kou, he made me love him, frustrated for him, cried for him, empathise with him and cry again after seeing him grow out of his trauma. he is a well written character and i love him so much.

do i agree with his every action? no. but i will also never agree to everyone that reduce him to a mere red flag or toxic ml, because he made dumb decisions, he struggle, he is confused, he is hurting but at the end of it he grew out of it and became a good boyfriend to futaba, a great friends to their friends group and good brother and son to his family. it was rocky to get their ships sailed, but it sails really well and that's what really matters.

im not sure it just basically what he said so my bet is the cast really want S2 to show things they cut or he just have to make it happen

i believe they have shoot everything but it was cut a lot to make it fit 9 ep only that's why the cast are disappointed and even kim namgil said if they wont release the rest or add anotehr season he will make it possible to put it other broadcasting platform

i think he reminds me of junwon fantasy boys/ &audition sometimes and zach lu at one part or maybe it's just me but i have been racking my brain too

havent start watching but the comment not expecting who to be bottom is a lesson we should learn positions is not decided by who looks tougher, taller etc. these are all just mere stereotypes

higher than the original? if that so me too actually bc while the og might be darker and more well written i always prioritise the feels a show gave me in my rating criteria and, this version gave me lots of feelings i cant explain

while he been in drama hiatus for like 9 years he has multiple movies throughout the period so that definitely one of the income as well
