can anyone explain to me is this a propaganda drama? i love ep 1 and will continue to watch and i dont mind if it propaganda show but i will like to keep it in mind while watching. i am aware of china taiwan conflict (tho not understanding it) so i just want to know is there anything i need to keep in mind while watching so i dont brought those information to irl
anyone know where is the filming location for this movie? barladian is a fake country, right? i'm curious bc i saw my national language there and i wonder which country barladian supposed to refer to
i enjoy it and he fei made me so angry but i still think the whole thing is impossible to plan and it's like a plot holes, did they like plan it within just 15 days? including the whole fake hospital building? is that really possible? but the story is engaging! the fake li muzi make me so angry janice man is such a great actress and of course nini never disappoint
I do not know much about Zhai Xiao Wen, but I am confident Zhang Ling He will be great in this drama if the director…
try watching sweet teeth, i think ZXW will able to potray the sweet 'soft' xielian well. when i read the novel i imagined xie lian voice to be very sweet and i was so excited when they announced he will be Xie Lian actor for LA (altho many kind of disagree at that time) bc he has that same sweet voice.
due to the censorship, the reincarnation felt a bit unclear to me. so she was reincarnated (modern setting) but she wrote the drama based on her past life? so when she woke up after showing glimpse of her first life she continue writing and it entails the story after her being reincarnated again and fix her mistakes. later when the story ends, she met again with xie wei (reincarnated). or do they both just writer and editor who share the same name as the characters in her novel? sorry if this is a bit confusing 😅
but technically in the novel there is no modern setting right? she was just reincarnated after she died, make amends and marry xie wei
Mistake is to expect logic in these dramas. You need to suspend your critical thinking skills for this story telling.…
hahahah true usually i can ignore but this drama just seems to ignore all these details so it's glaringly obvious but im tolerating it as i really enjoy the drama!
finally caught up to episode 7 and i'm scared to watch ep8 bc i dont want to see ranjoo and mokha fight. did it happen? (PLS SPOIL ME) i hope we can see mokha morae and ranjoo together being friends and having good senior and junior relationship pls they are all so cute. and, i dont want to see president lee and morae manager face again UGH i rolled my eyes each time they appear on screen.
ANYWAY, before i start watching i heard criticism about park eunbin acting and that make me hesitant to watch (i don't like her acting in attorney woo young woo but i like her in do you like brahms so this review make me scared to watch for fear that i will not enjoy her acting here) BUT, she is doing fine and there's nothing wrong or cringe in her acting nor her voice imo. chae jonghyeop; personally it's my first time seeing ppl saying they not a fan of his acting. i have always thought he is so underrated and love his acting in his previous drama but oh well, i guess it wasnt for everyone. hankyeon has improved a lot from the drama cheer up and i hope he will get more lead roles in the future!
Watch to episode seven and get Bogeol's pov.....and he didn't leave her alone infact he asked the parents to take…
oh. i mean by leaving her alone like after she was rescued from the island. if not for woohak bringing her to their home i wonder how her life would be bc he seems very much not aware she is living in their rooftop at first, so it feels like he is not even keeping an eye on her from afar when she was in the shelter. don't get me wrong i love him but it just annoying to see that after all the searchings throughout these years.
but ofc i havent watch ep7 so my thoughts might change later.
it's very obvious bogeol is kiho from episode 2 because that is how kiho has been since he was child, indifference attitude, remember when he just take the battery out during the mid calling or when he refuse to do anything that doesn't involvr money? kiho has always been like that, he start being good to her after their interaction especially after knowing she suffer from things he suffer as well. people being in denial just don't understand kiho character before he met mokha.
BUT, thing that made me piss off with kiho is WHY he go through all these searches only to keep her alone to survive? i fully understand him not revealing his identity but he know who she is, he know she is in island for 15 years, if woohak is not there, she would probably live in street or just wandering, lost without anyone to guide. it feels like why bother searching in the first place if you are not at least making sure she lives well after that?
he can do all that without exposing himself. or him calling her pathetic is just so KIHO brand but it piss me off because he know she doesnt know lots of things because she has been alone in island for 15 years, he can at least refrain from saying annoying words he make me so angry haha. i'm not expecting him to go fully helping or being caring to her i just want him to at least be nice, he can do at least that with their history.
anyway, where did she get all these clothes in the island? or pots? im struggling to understand the logic of this drama sometimes, like i love it, the plot and kiho despite him making me angry but i cant shake my heads off this thought. also, they shouldnt make this into love triangle it's stupid and woohak is too sweet for this.
i'm only on episode 4 so maybe i don't know a lot of things yet so feel free to spoil me!
When I watched the first episode, I already burst out of tears. This drama is so sensitive to me. I was tearing…
from what i remember the content of the letter was specified in the manhwa so if you are curious you can check it on the manhwa and i don't think it was about resentment but it's been like one year since i last read it so my memory is quite failing me
Passing out printed documents is normal since it's easier to carry around and quickly reference; idk why the coworker…
i mean in regards of folding, i know passing is normal but maybe i thought it was more professional to hand the work document with the folder given instead of folding and putting it in her bag (which to me is quite an unprofessional move). also i do believe she was at fault but chen mobai and his team is equally to be complicit. she did not secretly change the number, she add it as post note, they had the choice to follow or ignore, just like her
i'm pretty sure when shenxi coworker was asked to send the data to chen mobai, the paper was in a file. i dont get where the file go or her reasoning to fold the paper in her bag? im sorry that seems very weird to me. sure the file can still be gone but i think folding the data like that (which to be transferred around) doesnt seems normal in workplace? or is that normal
currently on Ep3 but i'm kind of lost why is she trying to make a move on him? sure she find him attractive but, feels like out of sudden and truthfully i was expecting her character to be on strict professional behavior mode. is it for the revenge towards her ex bf?
Maybe because Ahn Hyo Seop tends not to continue reading or watching the original materials (e.g., BP, Sood).…
i was looking forward to ATCY btw, i had fully accepted the cast and excited for it to come out so don't pin it on me disliking his potrayal just because i'm a sood fans. I came to like SOOD and AHS in the same year, 2020.
i had AHS phase in dr romantic 2, but i'm not gonna be that blind fan who cannot criticise his work. sure, i no longer had his phase now, and just casual fan but i never said he was a bad actor, my problem is he just did not make these characters (from source material) stand out, unlike his potrayal as Seo Woojin which leave a long lasting impression to me.
Ingyu is surely a calm guy but i also clearly said i did not mean AHS character as calm person, please read again. he gaves more chill vibes and his potrayal is just forgettable, i cant even remember his character name in ATCY now.
also, you are comparing Taiwan (smaller market) to Korea (bigger market), AHS had lots of opportunity to examine different role compared to greg being in Taiwan market, also greg has project before SOOD with different roles, not his fault you only watch his recent projects. but even that, i still think he is a better actor. you need to cope, just because we criticise him doesnt make us his hater bc i clearly praise his acting when he is giving a memorable performance
