I tend to do the same thing, I have probably 100 dramas in my W, PTW, OH lists but I sometimes go back and rewatch dramas I really liked when I don't really feel like tackling something new. I've also watched most of the HYD variations at least twice including the anime and the 1995 movie. I've also read the manga. In reality it's a good "shoujo" story which is why it keeps getting made and remade and we keep watching it. Just like other manga's that came out at that time like Hana Kimi and Itazura na Kiss.
If you are a fan of the manga and anime then you must ignore all of that when you watch this movie. I think the movie was good, especially for people that may not know the story and have nothing to compare it too. If you are huge fan, such as myself, then it will feel rushed because of how much they condensed into the movie. I understand why they did it, and mostly because unlike Marvel or DC, they have no guarantee to make sequels so they have to give a somewhat complete story in the movie. Personally I think they should have believed that it could be a series of movies and made it more about Ichigo's early development as a reaper and not tried to include Renji and Byakuya until the sequel. The characters though have the Bleach look and feel and the fight scenes were very well done.
we all know Choi Daniel and Lee Ji Ah's drama roots, but I'm more interested in watching this because of how good Park Eun Bin was in the Age of Youth seasons.
I must be the only one that liked season 2 as much as season 1 considering all the comments below. I do agree that it was difficult to watch Eun Jae because Park Hye Soo really nailed it in season 1. I think Ji Woo did the best she could in that situation. If they actually do a season 3 I think it would have to be with a different character set.
I saw clips of this on JTBC's youtube channel of Seongyeong and Hwayoung's "interactions" and thought I have got to watch this drama. This is one of those dramas that is actually better than it's description.
Also, people are relying on supposed ex-staff's words. Do we really know if they actually worked with the group…
I think it was her twin sister that made the threats because she believed that Ryu was the one being bullied. The staffers can say what they want but T-ara had lots of rumors floating around all the time about their attitudes and bullying towards trainees and sunbae's. A lot of what happened with Ryu occurred when the company decided to add Areum and Dani and it looked like they were getting preferential treatment. In the end Ryu left, Dani opted not to even debut with them, and Areum left after less than a year which I always felt was odd. T-ara was not the same. CCM even had to sell off to MBK because the CEO was investigated for embezzling funds meant to be used for a trainee's promotion. So I would take what the company says with a grain of salt, the only ones that really know are the group members themselves, and Ryu has admitted she was wrong and moved on.
I've seen her in several dramas and I think she has good acting talent. I'm glad she seems to have found something she likes and is working to a make it.
This has been unexpectedly good. Right amount of comedy, a bit of satire mixed in, and good chemistry between the cast, especially the brother/sister duo.
she definitely has a bright future, her portrayal of Tsukushi/Shan Cai in Meteor Garden remake is one of the best out of all the versions, I would definitely rank her right up there with Inoue Mao
Just watched the final. I feel like they drug out the last two episodes. That wedding was painful. How could he…
yeah, I thought the wedding scene was a bit odd as well. Kept thinking it was a dream until the F3 did their thing. Not sure why they decided to not have the parents involved like in HYD. I don't mind that they dragged out the last 2 episodes as much though because they tried to give a positive conclusion on all the characters.
Such a cute drama, i really like it but I wish we could see Xiao Nai's roommates in the final. I loved them very…
you have to remember that they have rules for kiss scenes especially depending on the type of drama, when it's aired, where it's aired, and the age of the actress involved or her characters age, it's the same way in Korea
I would rather see this than the way our shows in the US are
I just randomly came across this drama after "Sweet Combat" ended and it has been a good surprise. The story and the acting are well done and plenty of funny situations.
Girls of the Wilds is one that I have felt needs a live action show. A very loose Chinese adaptation has come out called "Sweet Combat" but I still think a Korean one is needed that sticks to the original story.
