Yeah i noticed that too. If youre not an action lover why watch action then complain how slowburn the romance is (or lack of) because romance makes up 1% of the whole plot? Theyre literally rating a series low because it ticks all the genre it’s labelled as. Mindblowing. 🤯

It’s like how i felt reading the chats of Parallel World where people are commenting how slow it is. I was like, are we watching the same series now? Parallel World went so fast i coughed in the smoke it left behind. Then i realized they were talking about the romance. 🙄

Another series that has fallen to ridiculous MDL rating. Action lovers dont get duped, give this a try!

Lu Yuxiao appears only occasionally cuz she’s the listener to the story of parallel world that the grandpa is telling her.

Meng Ziyi, although she is the key villain of the story, only actively appears towards the last half of the series after ML and FL have arrived at the world beyond the yumen pass. Her role is bigger than Lu Yuxiao of course, so she has more screentime.

Im just bracing myself as i crawl towards ep 18 now. Gil Dong’s arc turned really boring after they nailed Prince Choongmun. Had not for comments that the second half got better i might have dropped this already. The villains keep getting spared and returning for revenge really tick me off.

The ending doesnt make any sense but i am glad FL suffered for a bit after she thought she had lost Ning Changyue, cuz she made him to suffer for 3000 freaking years with her selfishness. 🙄

ML should get a girl who loves him as much as his love for FL. Wasted 3000 years for some ungrateful princess omg 🙄

Exactly my thoughts! I find the FL to be pretty selfish. But then isnt it cdrama trend to have the ML fawning over FL and get all the suffering from unrequited love or misunderstanding? 🫣🤷🏻‍♀️

I also dont understand how a couple living 3000years and still get misunderstood by their supposedly lover.

I notice this too. I was reading the chats on Parallel World and many complained that the pacing is slow. I was like, whaaaattt? The pace is so damn fast i could barely breathe, what do you mean it’s slow, are we watching the same drama here?

Then it hit me they were talking from the romance perspective. Yeah the romance is slow burn, but that doesnt make the plot’s pace slow! These people are so weird. You dont watch action adventure series for its romance! Go watch pure romance genre if that’s what youre after! Don’t ruin a drama’s rating just because you think the romance aint to your standards. 😒🫩

You should also give Parallel World a try. It is super good.

I dont have a problem with him as an actor, i mean his work in Blue Whisper and Fate Chooses You were good, but i mainly avoid his dramas cuz they tend to have tragic ending. 😆 I dont wanna get invested in a couple or any character only for them to die in the end. 🫩
