I saw her first in BFTB and was impressed. But watching her in LMLMV changed my mind. I like her but right now, I prefer her in period dramas and certain types of roles.

Yeah, when I watched her play demure in LMLMV, I thought it was more cringe than heart-fluttering. I definitely wouldn't call her an actress with a wide range of acting abilities. Add to your list of actresses is 21-year-old Zhao Jin Mai. That one is a complete natural when it comes to acting shy and coy.

I've watched till ep 19. I've also watched her in LMLMV. So I'm saying I don't find her great in those soft girl roles. It's too unnatural. It's even worst in this drama when there is a contrast. I like her but I think she has much room to improve if she wants to play demure roles. Her breathless voice doesn't cut it for me.

I really don't like FL when she tries to speak in an almost breathless way to act demure. Just be natural, gal! ZY is not great at acting demure. She's best being badass and spunky.

Oh you're right. It's 24 episodes in all. I also want them back faster. That's also why I keep fast-forwarding to find if they do when new episodes drop. Haha.

I fast forward to new episodes to check how his family and girlfriend will find out, then go back to watching each episode again. This drama is good but I really dislike her best friend and I find the actress overacting too. Even his dad is not as irritating to watch.

Same thoughts! I enjoy watching ML chasing her and getting jealous over her suitors. I usually lose interest when couples get together. There's less spark and usually the type of conflict they bring in to drag such drama plots are stupid and angsty. I'm glad this one does not have that.

Ep 18 looks exciting given the preview but I think it'll be funny too.

I find the pace good as well. They have very meaningful interactions and it's not like nothing is happening between them or they're giving us unnecessary angst. I also like the "chasing" part of the romance rather than seeing them get together too fast. The schedule...sigh...IT IS PAINFUL.

I like this drama because FL's got an ATTITUDE. Heck to damsel in distress or those playing doormat. ML needs to get a double dose of his own medicine!

I don't know how they do it but I think it's cos the team leaders are different so there's clearer direction. But I can see traces of similarity for sure.

Where I work, we have creative people working with 2 different teams on different projects at the same time. Division of time is up to the individual as long as work gets done. There's also competition because the product is similar, just using different approach. Eg. television/digital vs print. But now that you've highlighted this, I agree there's an obvious conflict of interest in the story.

Wang Qi was getting on my nerve for the longest time but when he called LB a cat hero, I forgave all his annoying transgressions. LOLLL.

I love that his time there was extremely short too. I think it was within days he was out. Haha.
